Amanda Peet in sweats and a "grandmother bra"

For Amanda Peet, being a new mom means fashion needs to take a backseat for a bit. Amanda, mom to Frances Pen, 10 weeks, has traded in redcarpet couture for comfy casual.

Right now, it’s sweatpants and a big, huge bra that looks like it belonged to my grandmother.

Although she finds maternity wear "so cute," Amanda’s wardrobe during those ninemonths wasn’t all that different from what it is now.

I just wore sweatpants all of the time. But I liked baby-doll dresses, too.

Theactress says she thinks Frances looks like a blend of her and her husband,screenwriter David Benioff, although she’s not yet sure whose eyebrowsshe has.

We both have big, huge eyebrows. She didn’t have them when shewas born, but she’s getting them. She really looks like both of us. Shelooks like David when she’s scowling, and she looks like me when she’s peaceful, which is the opposite of how it should be.

While many newborns come home from the hospital to an excess of toys and stuffed animals, Frances doesn’t have a collection.

Not yet; she’s not grabbing anything yet. She’s just started to smile.
