Actress Mariska Hargitay, 43, and her husband Peter Hermann took their son August Miklos Friedrich, 10 months, to the Tribeca Street Fair on Saturday. They listened to a live band while August laughed and danced (with a little help from dad)! August’s blanket is an Amber Hagen reversible motorcycle blanket ($158).

This is my favorite celebrity family. They seem so down to earth and I loved reading the articles about their wedding and how excited Mariska was about motherhood. August is beautiful and unlike Ninevah, I love Mariska’s new haircut. She used to wear it like this a couple of years ago and I thought it looked really cute on her.

Oh I suppose August and Dannielynn have little in common since idolized Marilyn Monroe an August’s grandmother was Jayne Mansfield. However perhaps someday Dani and Mariska could sympathsize with each other since both lost their mothers at very young ages. I just saw her other cut that wasn’t as short. But I definitely like this one. I always liked her hair short, long-whatever. She pulls off any look.

I almost died when I saw how big he was now and how gorgeous he is. No surprise there though – look at his parents! She is my favorite actress. She’s awesome and compassionate…seems to be more rare this days.
