Molly Shannon doesn't want to be a superstar

While many Saturday Night Live alums have found great success afterdefecting from the sketch show, Molly Shannon decided that wasn’t thepath for her. The Year of the Dog star much prefers raising herchildren Stella, 3 1/2, and Nolan, 2, with husband Fritz Chestnut, overpursuing a big-time film career.

I get too much enjoyment out of being with the kids, doing other stuff.I’d be content just to get steady work and wait for the occasionalgreat role like this one.
