Kim Fields welcomes a son

Former Facts of Life/Diff’rent Strokes star Kim Fields,37, aka ‘Tootie,’ and her boyfriend Christopher Morgan, 30, welcomed their son Sebastian Alexander Morgan, on Friday at 11:30 am. Sam — his parents plan to call him by his initials — weighed 6 pounds, 4 ounces, and is 19 inches long.

Kim was in labor for less than two hours and had a ‘trouble free, sickness free, very smooth, perfect, pregnancy and delivery.’ Upon seeing her son, Kim remarked, ‘Oh, my God. He’s gorgeous.’ Christopher, on the other hand, didn’t say anything — he was speechless and crying.

Although People reports makes it sound as though she and Christopher did not know the sex of the baby before delivery, that is untrue — she had announced to a Houston radio station in February that it was a boy.

Congratulations to her. I also read (at Imdb.com) that her Facts of Life co-star Nancy McKeon had her second child in Dec. ’06 but I haven’t heard anything else about it anywhere and whether it was a boy or a girl.

I’m soooooo hatin!!!!! Less than 2 hours of labor??? I was in labor for 3 DAYS she’s so lucky. But good for her she can do that at her age.
