Naomi Watts "surprised" by pregnancy energy

At a Beverly Hills boutique opening on Thursday a radiant Naomi Watts raved about carrying a baby, backing up earlier claims by fiance Liev Schreiber that he’s "never seen anyone handle a pregnancy so well."  The Australian actress admitted to "moving at a much slower pace" but said she is nonetheless enjoying every minute of what is her first pregnancy.

I’m just really happy to be pregnant…I wish I had some wood to knock, but I just feel very energetic and strong.  You know, I hear a lot of women say that it was difficult for them and I know everyone experiences it in a different way, but I’m surprised by my energy.

Although she isn’t yet feeling any first-time jitters, Naomi knows that it is inevitable as her due date in mid-summer nears.

Yeah, I will get nervous but I am very, very excited.

I’m sure she doesn’t feel this way but it seems like her pregnancy has flown by…I can’t believe she’s due next month, it seems like we just got word that she was pregnant.

I’m really excited about this baby – I’ve been hoping for years that Naomi finds a great guy and becomes a mommy and now it’s happening. Can’t wait to see pics of the baby. I say it’s a girl and her name will be something traditional like Sarah or Emily(that’s my feeling but it’s probably just a wild guess *lol*)

I think it’s a girl too and I hope they have another baby soon after this one. Naomi was smart to keep it private for a long time. I’m sure they’ll give the baby a traditional name. Liev knows first hand how hard it is to deal with an unusual name. They both richly deserve to be parents, I can’t wait to see this baby.

Also, looks like she’s wearing an engagement ring but they’re keeping their engagement private.

Yeah, they seem to be one of those no-so-secretly engaged couples like Michelle William and Heath Ledger were for awhile. Not announcing it, but not denying it either.

I agree with Shannon, it seems like just yesterday they officially announced that she was pregnant and now she’s due in JUNE?! I wish my pregnancy would fly by too! BTW, that dress looks killer on her and the color is very flattering also for her complexion/hair color. Very lovely and classy.
