Michael Jackson's children are polite & well mannered

Sister 2 Sister publisher Jamie Foster Brown was recently offered a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity — she was invited to Tokyo to "observe" the King of Pop Michael Jackson and his children, sons, 10-year-old Prince Michael and  5-year-old Prince Michael II, and daughter, 9-year-old Paris Michael Katherine.  Jamie says she walked away with a totally new respect for Michael and his parenting skills, saying,

Michael is a devoted father. He’s raising them to be very polite, humble, and, believe it or not, pretty ordinary. They are calm, relaxed kids who play jokes on their dad. He’s raising them to be less pretentious than many children I have met.

Manners are very important to the music legend. She adds that at one point while interacting with the single-parent family, Michael thought Paris was being rude to her and "he got very upset."

While he skeeves me out, I am glad that his children are growing up “normal” as can be with him as their father.

I always wondered though, what he calls the two boys. Is on Michael and one Prince or are they both called the same thing?

- TracyG on

Nice story. Everyone I know who’s met them says the same thing.

As to the two sons’ names: “Prince Michael I” is actually Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr. (you can see his legal name on Debbie Rowe’s divorce filing from Oct 1999. “Prince Michael II” goes by the nickname “Blanket” – No one [but Michael] knows exactly what his real name is.

im sorry, im not trying to be rude, but theres no way those kids can be his. They are both white, and michael jacksons not, at least he didnt use to be. Those kids dont have any traits from his side of the family.

Despite that fact that I think Michael is a bit “strange” sometimes, I do believe he is a good person and a good father and he seems to be raising wonderful children.

- Heather on

Ah well. I think Michael is a bit strange or rather a lot strange. But if the kids are happy then that’s all that matters. I just wish they were able to go to normal schools and not be covered up in public – That’s just too weird for small kids.

- Aura on

I am glad to see that he is no longer making these children cover their faces when they are in public. I know he worries about kidnapping but making them do that was way over the top.

I don’t know if these children have the same mother but I believe the mother of at least one of them is a fair skinned blonde. A child can look like one parent and nothing like the other.

- Judy on

Apparently they used donor sperm to conceive the children.
I’m glad they are growing up “normal”.

- Lorus on

If you look at pictures of Debbie when she was younger, you can see that Paris resembles her. As for Prince Michael I, he actually looks like Michael AFTER his surgery and before he started looking weird. How’d they do THAT??

- LaMama on

JUDY:

Michael still makes them cover their faces (Paris was at the mall with him recently – on her birthday – and was covered up) and he will probably keep doing so until he can no longer make them (like when they are adults).

There are a rare number of occasions, like in the above pictures, when they have been “caught” without their faces covered.

- Erin on

I don’t think we can judge Michael because he doesn’t take his kids to a “normal” school. Connor and Isabella Cruise are home-schooled and no-one seems to make a fuss about that.

- Lilybett on

i feel so sorry for those kids….

Erin:

Yes, he still does occasionally cover them up, but only when he’s around them, or when he expects paparazzi [that why you wouldn't be able to pick them out from a crowd of kids].

There are several pictures of them unmasked; throughout his trial he took them to Kingdom Hall – without any disguises. Here are a few pics from June 05, one day before ther jury delivered the verdict: http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-2005270263,00.html

By the way, when Michael and Paris entered the store on her recent 9th birthday, she was allowed removed her veil. from JustJared: http://buzznet-00.vo.llnwd.net/media/jj1/2007/04/jackson_birthday/paris-jackson-birthday-08.jpg

I agree with you guys on the masks, btw. I just think they’re nowhere near as sheltered as many think.

- Brent Howard on

It really doesnt matter if these kids are his or not…

There are other parents who have their kids and they neednt be their own…
Michael is an excelent father. He is not only trying to protect his kids against kidnapping, it is also against some people like some of you…

Some of you are permanently trying to question Michael as a father, but mostly the kids as someone “not normal”, but from where you have the right to judge him and question him…

Only because you “think” something about Michael, or because you dont like Mike…

Come on…

Is there anybody who ever tryed to question you or your kids..

How would you feel about that…???
And imagine Michael… hoe he must to militate against soem of you and your stupid innuendos, allusions….

And … would you be OK, if there were similar “attacks” against you and your kids…?

STOP IT…!

- Brandon on

Hey people would you please stop talking about MJ’s Childrens different skin issues?

may he used to donor sperm or whatever thought it thats not point,

No matter what people say they are being happy with natural born talented humble father

stop talking HELLO!

- Sean on

Jacko must really love himself, especially when he insists on all his “children” being named after him, even his daughter..who gives a male middle name to a little girl?! I feel sorry for those kids, to be honest, I don’t think they’re life will ever be normal. I once saw an article that said Paris once asked what a “friend” was, because the only friend she really had was her father, and her brothers, Obviously I don’t knw it if was true or not, but its shocking to think of IF it was true.

- Audrey on

Those kid are getting the childhood Michael never had. He is making sure they have a “daddy” who loves them, and plenty of friends all over the world to play with. They also help their dad by viiting orphanages and hospitals and playing with the children. Their hearts are full of love that most American kids are missing out on as they rot infront of their TV sets. If you’re reading this, here, critisizing a man you kno NOTHING about, and you have kids, go get them and take them to do some good deeds in the world. Get your kids ad go visit a nursing home, or a soup kitchen…this is a model single-parent family, and its a damn shame people can’t see that.

we all know how idealislic is the king of entertainment.we all know what kind of persons is michael…we will always love him.he is our inspiration.he brought joy to this world..god bless his children.we love them as we love their father…michael is perfection..god bless u.

- dan on

Give the guy a break! Look at what he’s done for the world and let’s appreciate him!!

- Kate on

How can he be a good father?
He doesn’t let them have contact with the outside world. They ARE NOT HIS BIO. Kids!!
