Am I the only one getting irritated by her incessant whining about how horrible pregnancy is? Newsflash Jaime, pregnancy is unpleasant (at times) for every expectant mother in the world.
Obviously she’s excited and happy about being a mum, and that’s great. It just appears that she has problems accepting the blatantly obvious fact that growing a baby requires 9 months of sacrifice, and then a lifetime of further sacrifices after that.
Did she not realise that carrying a child would affect her weight and body shape before she got pregnant? You want a baby, you put up with the side effects, that’s my opinion of it.
Who cares about saddlebags or a tummy when you’ve got a brand new little baby to love and take care of?

Did we all have the same pregnancy? I’m about 5’3″, no waist, was 2 1/2 weeks EARLY and he was 9 lbs. I also had a great pregnancy, no morning sickness, felt great, until about 35 weeks I thought he was going to burst out of my stomach like in Alien. All I could do was sleep in the recliner and stretch out, because it was so painful. The second guy was pretty crummy at the end too.

I always laugh when people say they feel like their baby will come early, because everyone I know of that has said that ends up overcooking, and thats not fun

Tink, you and I had the same pregnancies!

I’m also 5’2″ and short-waisted. My baby was nearly 9lbs and way overdue, so I felt like I was being suffocated by the end. I didn’t have any morning sickness either, but boy did I pay for that at the end. I can totally understand how Jaime feels. Some women have it easy and don’t understand why it’s tough for others. At the end, my bones felt like they were so stretched out they’d fly off my body!

She’s just saying what many of us are thinking. It’s so annoying how people except you to be happy all the time, just because you’re pregnant. You can be grateful/happy and also ornery!

maybe I am in the minority but I enjoyed every bit of my pregnancies except my last 2 weeks with my son. He was so big and I am so small (he was over 10 pounds and I am only 5’2″ and short waisted so there wasn’t lots of room left!). Of course I had absolutely no morning sickness with either of my pregnancies and no complications so I was lucky.

I think she’s just excited, really. I had a good laugh reading what she had to say as I’m in the 3rd trimester as well and can understand fully what she means. Especially about the restless nights.

This may sound harsh, but I get the feeling that since the start of this pregnancy, she has really been using it as a way to get publicity. I could be wrong, maybe she is just excited and likes to talk alot about the baby and the pregnancy. Or maybe its just in contrast to other celebs who really try to keep some things private. It’s just a bit much to me – starting with sharing the name of the baby before she was even in the second trimester. But who am I to judge…I’m not a celebrity with reporters asking me personal questions.
