Jaime Pressly says third trimester "is hell"
My Name Is Earl actress Jaime Pressly is definitely not enjoying the waning weeks of her first pregnancy. In a new interview with TV Guide, with accompanying photos, Jaime noted that although "the first and third trimester is when your body does all the baby growing," son Dezi James has done just about all the growing Jaime can take.
Second trimester is bliss. And then it goes to the third trimester, when you want to absolutely stab your eyes out with a pencil because you can’t believe how fat you’ve gotten, your hips hurt and you can’t sleep at night. You want to eat your hand off every five seconds. It’s like, ‘Get this child out of me!’
Jaime got off to a rough start with this pregnancy, because nobody shared with her the tip about taking prenatal vitamins at night in order to sleep off the nausea that they can sometimes cause. As a result, she spent much of the work day sick. Due on Mother’s Day (although she told Us Weekly that she’s now due May 8th), Jaime thinks she could deliver any time because she and fiance Eric Cubiche both strongly feel that baby Dezi is "going to come early."
But that may just be wishful thinking on Jaime’s part.
I’m not going to lie to you, it’s hell. Everybody goes ‘It’s so great, look what you’re getting, it’s such a gift…’ The gift would be if he’d come out early, ’cause I’ve about had it!
In other Earl baby news, Jaime shared with TV Guide that co-star Ethan Suplee and his wife Brandy Lewis recently had their fourth daughter, and series creator Greg Garcia and his wife welcomed a baby on April 9. Joking that there are fertility drugs in the water on set, Jaime expressed gratitude that she could share her pregnancy with such an understanding cast.
I work with such an amazing group of people who could not be more comforting or more like family.
