Meryl Streep's daughter Mamie following in mom's footsteps

Meryl Streep‘s eldest daughter Mary Gummer, 23, most commonly known as Mamie is planning on following her mother’s footsteps and become an actress. Eighteen months ago she got her first role in Broadway’s Mr Marmalade and is currently doing some modeling as well. Despite her edgy look, she grew up in rural Connecticut with brother Henry, 27, and sisters Grace, 20, and Louisa, 15, wearing jeans and sneakers.

As for her famous mother, Mamie says,

At home she’s not Meryl Streep – she’s Mum; she’s great and I love her a lot.

I’ve never seen her before but in this picture she looks as fresh and wholesome as a piece of apple pie.
