Larry Birkhead is a step closer to bringing Dannielynn home

Larry Birkhead, Virgie Arthur and Howard K. Stern were back in court today for a custody hearing over baby Dannielynn, 7 months. Virgie is petitioning for joint custody of the baby while Larry wants full custody – after all, it is his child. It appears an end might be in sight – after court, Larry remarked,

It was a good day for me in court!

Star Magazine is reporting that Larry could be bringing Dannielynn to the United States as early as next week. A source told Star:

The judge ruled that Larry can take his daughter to the U.S. next week, as long as all the paperwork is in order. That includes correcting the birth certificate to show that Larry is the father, and not Howard and getting Dannielynn a U.S. Passport. All of that is in the works and should be ready by next week, and Larry can bring his baby home!

Everything should be finalized next week at the final hearing needed before Dannielynn can go to the United States. The custody hearings related to Virgie’s custody concerns will resume in June due to Virgie’s attorney’s busy schedule. Entertainment Tonight is reporting that Virgie’s team is expecting for the custody battle to turn into a full-blown trial. However, many others related to the case don’t feel it will go that far.

Being from Texas and never having seen anybody pay a judgment in my 62 years, It will surprise me if the baby gets paid anything as well as anybody else involved with the Marshalls.

OJ could live every bit as judgment free in Texas as he does in Florida!

No wonder Virgie wants it straightened out in the Bahamas.

GEEZ that baby has legal statues in the USA why are they going through so much junk. That child is a US citizen because her parents are all they ever had to do was apply for a born abroad birth certificate. Glad she is getting to come home though. That will be good for her to see the country where her roots are.

I don’t know much about custody laws but what chances would Virgie have of gaining custody? Larry’s been proven to be the biological father while Virgie is the estranged mother of Anna-Nicole……wouldn’t the father’s right supersede that of a grandparent?

Virgie Arthur has maintained all along she wants visitation rights to Dannielynn and Larry Birkhead has never disputed or denied her this.

He has quite openly stated both grandmothers to have the same rights to the baby, but he is not willing to be committed to some sort of contract with direct family.

When Dannielynn was in Howard K Sterns care however, he (HKS) has vowed Virgie Arthur will never get close to the baby and to date Howard K Stern still has a lot of (legal) clout in Dannielynns life.

It is therefore understandable Virgie Arthur wants something on paper via the Courts, to guarantee she will not be shut out again as it is also very obvious there is some sort of arrangement between Howard K Stern and Larry Birkhead, so at this stage Larry is being careful not to upset either party too much……

As long as Larry Birkhead can get the baby out of the Bahamas and to the USA, everyones grip on that baby will be considerably less, especially that of Howard K. Stern (!!, as he is ultimately the one to watch out for, not the Grandma !!

They all need to get out of the Bahamas and resume life. Virgie has no claim to any of the money that Dannielynn may or not have or ever get. She is literally trying to steal her granddaughter’s money. I’ve gone from seeing her as “that poor grandma” to seeing her as a money-hungry b……

To all people continously claiming Virgie Arthur is a money grabber etc etc, I just want to explain some background here:

Now that Anna Nicole is gone, Virgie Arthur wants to make sure in future her granddaughter Dannielynn never again falls into the hands of Howard K. Stern.

Anna Nicole and Howard Stern kept Vergie Arthur AS WELL AS Larry Birkhead at bay for a long time, even to the extend of naming Howard K. Stern the “father” of Dannielynn and putting his name on the birth certificate.

Howard K Stern persistantly went to great lengths to sabotage the DNA testing for as long as he possibly could.

He also instigated a last minute appeal because he found out the DNA testing was not going to be done by a laboratory of HIS choice (!!)

When Howard K Stern had run out of options and Larry Birkhead was proven to be the father of Dannielynn (which everybody already knew from as far back as the beginning of Anna Nicoles pregnancy as she had said so herself all along), Howard Stern suddenly became the concerned and ever so helpful “friend” to Larry Birkhead, fully supporting him in his quest for sole custody.

As a result of these sudden divided loyalties, Larry Birkhead is now between a rock and a hard place.

He definitely wants to be amicable and have a decent arrangement with Virgie Arthur as after all she is the babies biological maternal grandmother and Dannielynn therefore also has her DNA (yes Dannielynn has Virgie Arthurs DNA also).

There has never been any animosity between Larry Birkhead and Virgie Arthur.

Virgie Arthur has said all along Larry Birkhead is a “good guy” and she is really happy he is Dannielynns biological father.

Unfortunately for everyone around Howard K. Stern has himself well and truly tied up with Anna Nicoles estate and Dannielynns future finances in a legal sense, also in regard to any future inheritance from the Marshall estate, if ever that comes to fruition (!!)

This puts both Larry Birkhead as well as Virgie Arthur in a really difficult position and by all accounts makes Howard K Stern the money grabber and baby stealer, not the Grandma !!

I really don’t like the grandmother – I read once that Anna Nicole blamed her mother for allowing her father to beat her and things like that. I wouldn’t be letting my baby anywhere near her!

I am so glad that Larry was proven to be the father, and that Howard Stern is NOT. Although it is nice to see that they are getting along for the sake of the baby, he (HKS) still gives me the creeps! I just recently saw the video of ANS (8 months pregnant) with the clown make up all over her face, and you can tell that she is COMPLETELY out of it on some combo of drugs…with HKS filming her…and yet he claims to love and want only the best for Dannielyn? I don’t think so!! I really hope Dannielyn is okay…and doesn’t end up being too affected by ANS’s drug use during pregnancy

I don’t understand what rights a grandmother would have AT ALL? Why would she even think she has any chance of gaining any custody, or really any visitation rights? I would think that would be totally up to the parent? Of course if he was unfit that would be one thing, but it doesn’t seem like there is anything that shows that would be the case.

Lets get D/L HOME with Larry, once on US soil all the Bahama court cases become “null and void”. I truly feel that HKS “ENABLED” ANS to take the drug cocktail that killed her…and possibly had a hand in Daniel’s death as well…I also think that we should respect ANS’s wishes that her mother NOT be allowed into her daughter’s life…SHE DOES NOT HAVE ANY RIGHTS NOR CLAIM TO this gorgeous baby….I hope her Lawyers SCREW HER FOR EVERY PENNY!!!

I am so glad things are moving along for Larry and Dannielynn.

Regarding grandma: virgie has asked for a percentage of the ANS estate, control of Dannielynns trust fund and she wants full custody when Larry dies!!!

Persumably hearing that Larry is now sleeping with one eye open.

There are some states, Florida being one, where grandparents can sue for visitation rights and even partial custody IF one parent is dead. Whether that is law in California or Texas, I’m not sure, but that may be where she’s getting the idea that she has rights.

Isn’t it just BIZARRE that Virgie wants joint custody in case Larry dies? She’s 21 years older than him! Most likely she’s going to die first! By that alone it couldn’t be clearer that she’s a manipulative, gold-digging hag. I sure hope Larry isn’t too trusting of her.

How wonderful that Larry’s a step closer to bringing his girl home. I’m sure he’ll take her back to the Bahamas from time to time to visit Uncle Howard.
