Eva Herzigova is loving pregnancy

Supermodel Eva Herzigova, 34, seven months pregnant with her first child, spoke to Britain’s Sunday Times about her pregnancy. Here are the highlights -

On being pregnant: I’m just so happy. I want to be pregnant for the next 10 years. I feel so powerful. You have no idea. Butit’s an inner power. You are so content with just being. That?s how itis. I feel so confident about my body. I feel so potent. You feel likeyou have your mission, and it’s empowering.

On being proud of pregnancy: Many times women disappear when they become pregnant. They start to hide and feel like they don’t want to be seen. Ithink that’s wrong.

On weight gain: Eva has gained 25 lbs so far. ‘I have developed a taste for sweets – I never liked chocolate before. I’m not thinking, ‘Oh, I’m getting fat’. I haven’t gained weight in my legs, so I show them off.

On fashion changes: Before, I could run in high heels. I never had problems. But suddenly your balance changes. I keep falling off them.

She’s not concerned about losing the weight, or what people think
: I’m not thinking about getting back into shape. I just wantto enjoy this. I’m not like one of those celebrity people who would dieto get back into shape. If people want to take pictures of me beinground, they will take pictures of me being round. I think it’simportant to show your true self and how you are – you don’t have to bein perfect shape or skinny shape.
