Katie 'Jordan' Price on The Charlotte Church show
Katie ‘Jordan’ Price appeared on The Charlotte Church Show last week. Since both Brit stars are currently pregnant, it made for an interesting interview, as Charlotte wanted to know all about pregnancy. Here are the highlights – or watch the video yourself in the extended post.
Does Katie enjoy being pregnant?: This time, I’m really not enjoying it. I’ve got a sciatic problem [pain along the sciatic nerve can cause pain, weakness, numbness and tingling from the lower back down the back of the leg to the toes], I’m bigger this time, it is true what they say, the more kids you have, the more weight you put on. I just can’t wait for this to be over!
On those famous breasts: I can’t wait to get my boobs done, for a start. I’m getting them a bit smaller. They’re old. I’ve had three boob jobs, three kids, they’re probably down to my knees. [Later in the show, a clip of a braless Katie from her reality show is viewed.] See, I told you they were low, didn’t I?!
On working out after baby: I’m going to get fit this time. Cuz I’ve never worked out. I mean, I’ve done the workout video, but… (Charlotte mouths ‘Oops’ at Katie’s slip and the audience laughs.)
On not allowing reality show cameras to film Harvey’s burn accident recovery: Katie and Peter have full editorial control over what is actually show on television. I think a reality show should be a reality show, when they see you moody, natural at home, but things never go normal for me, like New Year’s Eve, Harvey had his accident. He’s still in in-patient now in hospital, and it’s been an absolute bumpy road.
So obviously, I refused, I said, ‘You’re not filming him in hospital.’ I’m sorry, but I’m a mum as well, and I’m in that hospital and you can’t film. There’s no way I’d let them film that.
How is Harvey now?: I just feel really sorry for him, to be honest. I never ask for sympathy or anything, but it’s just, the poor little boy, he’s so brave. He’s really been through it.
