Nicolas Cage's international hopes for Kal-El

Nicolas Cage‘s son, Kal-El, 18 months, with wife Alice Kim, already has an other-worldly name and now the actor wants him to have an other-worldly education. Nicolas recently purchased and is restoring a 900-year-old castle in Bavaria, where he hopes Kal-El will attend school.

I believe it’s important to cultivate an international mind because itcarries the spirit of peace. When we get nationalistic, we get intotrouble. I have a little boy and I want him to have an internationaleducation.

Nicolas also has a 15-year-old son, Weston, from a previous relationship, who he says has taught him a lot about fatherhood and has made him very proud as well with his accomplishments.

I’m older and I have 15 years of experience, but all of the experienceshave been meaningful and deep and rewarding in many ways. My son,Weston, is a wrestling champion and he just got a gold medal the otherday.
