Actress Julie Bowen Is a New Mama!

Update: Oliver McLanahan Phillips arrived at 10:15 pm last evening, weighing in at 6 lbs., 15 oz, and 19 inches long.

Originally posted April 10th: Boston Legal and former Ed star Julie Bowen‘s water broke on set this afternoon, so we look forward to baby news in the morning!

Julie and her husband Scott Phillips had not found out the sex of the baby before the delivery, so it’s all a surprise…stay tuned!

I wonder how you pronounce McIanahan. Is it like mick-an-a-han? Must be a family name. Anywho, congrats to them!

I don’t think the baby’s middle name is “McIanahan”, rather “McLanahan” (like the actress from the Golden Girls). When I first saw the annoucement on People.com, I thought it looked a bit peculiar until I realized that the letter was a lower case “l” instead of an upper case “I”.
