Mel C says Baby Spice is "blooming"

Melanie "Mel C" Chisolm says pregnancy is agreeing with her former bandmate Emma Bunton, who’s expecting her first child in the summer with her boyfriend Jade Jones.

She’s loving it and is blooming. She hasn’t complained of morningsickness or swollen ankles, or anything like that. It’s all really exciting,I’m so happy for her.

Mel C remains the only Spice Girl without children yet and while she would love to be a Spice Mama one day with her boyfriend of five years, construction firm director Thomas Starr, she doesn’t have a timetable for it.

I’m not broody, but I do want kids and it’ssomething I have to think about at my age. I don’t know when it will happen. I tend not to think much further than therest of the year ahead. We have talked about it. When you’ve been togetherfor five years, you’ve pretty much talked about everything.
