Baby comes first for Tiger Woods

TigerelinTiger Woods still has seven more majors to go before he surpasses Jack Nicklaus‘ record of 18, but that won’t be on his mind for much longer. Currently competing at The Masters, Tiger says come July his top priority will be his baby he’s expecting with his wife Elin, and he’s not sure if winning titles will be as important to him anymore.

As important? I don’t know. But certainly it will be more difficult to try and prepare. Because obviously we’re going to have a little one, and it’s our responsibility to try and raise it as best we can, and that’s going to require a lot of energy. I’ve never gone through it before, so I don’t know how my preparation or my playing schedule will change. Obviously our whole priority [will be] to raise our child. That will be our No. 1 priority.

Tiger is a dad that any child would be lucky to have! He already has the priorities straight and that is a breath of fresh air. I am in complete awe of this man…he may be the best golfer of all time and one of the best athletes of all time but in a few short months, he will be dad first and foremost and that means everything to him. Tiger and Elin will make amazing parents and Earl would be damn proud of Tiger for the man and the father he’s already become. I know he’s smiling down on him right now…KUDOS to Tiger…he was meant to be a dad and I can’t wait to see that baby…he/she will be gorgeous that’s for sure!
