David Caruso talks about fatherhood and its intense schedule
David Caruso was interviewed for this week’s edition of TV Guide and talked about fatherhood and the busy scheduling it requires. David said that when he is home and not on the set of his show, CSI Miami, he has a very regimented schedule. He said:
7:30 is when Elmo starts on Sesame Street, then its Little Einsteins and if I am lucky, I can squeeze in Mickey at 8:30. Then we go for a walk. Next, I put him down for a nap and I make lunch. Then, you’re looking at an afternoon of playground, snacktime and before you know it, it’s dinner, bath and bed. And let me tell you, I’m not up much longer than the baby is.
David went on to talk about how fatherhood has changed him for the better. He said:
I am 51 years old now and I see my life in the clearest way I ever have. Having a little boy has taken me to a very deep place. I am starting to realize everything I ever worried about was such a waste of time.
David’s son, Marquez, is 18 months old and he has another one on the way with his girlfriend, Liza. David also has a 23 year old daughter, Greta, from a previous relationship.
