So far, both Britney and Kevin behaved/still behave totally irresponsible when it comes to their children. Now they share custody but in fact I’m sure the kids spend the majority of their time with either Kevin’s mother or Britney’s mother. At the moment it’s not the parents but the grandparents who raise those two baby boys while mommy and daddy put in the occasional appearance. At least that’s my impression.

I think it`s wrong that Kevin Federline, who never really cared for his baby Sean Preston when he and Britney were together, but always went out partying and getting drunk, is revarded more of the custody for the babies than their loving mom! Yes, Britney has her faults and did stupid things that could harm her sons safety at times, but it can`t be easy raising your babies in the media spotlight,who blows every mistake you make out of proportion.. Maybe Kevin has learned to be a better father for his boys the last month with Britney in rehab, but he shouldn`t get more than visitation rights every other weekend. He can`t handle more custody, I think, and Britneys gonna miss her babies like crazy and cry herself to sleep, caus she`s a hands on mom that loves her babies and needs to be with them. Being with them will help her recover.

Diana: It’s entirely possible that she’s not “paying for her partying” but that this is what she wants. Just because Britney wanted full custody in November when she filed for divorce doesn’t automatically mean that she still wants full custody now. Maybe she’s happy about this custody arrangement.

Funny how she has to pay for all her partying but yet Kevin doesn’t. Seems like so many have forgotten all his partying and think he is this fantastic guy. He is a gold digger plain and simple.

If Britney does indeed suffer from the effects of postpartum, then I think this situation is great for her boys. I went through Postpartum but only a small case. I was recovered in about a week and let me tell you, it was a week of hell!! Hormones do funny things to women after pregnancy and even my own mother thought I was “losing it” Once I got some therapy and some help, I was fine….

I just hope Britney gets the help she needs if that’s her diagnosis. I think of all the cases of moms that were diagnosed with PPD and what happened to their children and I cringe. At least Brit is willing to share custody with Kevin and do what is best for her kids.

The money issue though seems a bit extreme to me. 50,000 a MONTH? Most people feed and clothe two or three kids on that in a year! I have to wonder what the kids of celebs need that would amount to that much money in a month….it’s astounding to me! LOL…

I think we’ll see Kevin out more and back to his old ways now that the custody and divorce have been settled. Who wants to make the first bet that his mom or a nanny will be with those boys most of those “daddy days”

I disagree. While we’re sharing conspiracy theories here, I think she genuinely wanted her marriage to work and really wanted to be a mum, though not for the right reasons. She always used to talk about how lonely and sick she is of touring all the time. My theory is that she thinks a husband and children would make all her troubles go away, hence the Vegas wedding. It’s the she’s-never-had-a-real-childhood cliche, Kevin was her way to fulfill that little girl fantasy of the perfect husband and the perfect baby.

I think it’s great that they’re sharing custody almost equally. I don’t buy that whole theory that children need their mothers more than their fathers or that it’s harder for a mother to be away from her children than for a father. Unless one parent is abusive or severely neglectful then I think children should get to be with both parents an equal amount. It’s totally unfair that mothers are usually awarded more time with their children than fathers are.

It’s a great idea. As a child of divorce, I would have loved to have seen both my parents pretty much equally. But my mother got custody (Which was fine. She’s a great mother), but I never saw my dad, until I was around 10, so It’s been difficult to develop a relationship with him. This way, the boys will have hopefully good relationships with both parents!!!

Wow that is what would be the hardest for me not to see my kids but 3 days a week that would be the topper. The money if I had it would be nothing to the loss of the children. I hope she straightens out and gets to see them more later. I hate to see a mom not have her kids. I also see the arrangment as not good for the kids. I don’t know how I would like to live half my week in one house and the other half in another house. I hope the kids are ok in the long run that is what is important.
