Soap star Chad Brannon and wife mourn loss of daughter

Update: We are sad to pass along the following message from Chad.

Carly and I lost our baby girl. She passed away on Feb. 23 and it was pretty rough, but the Lord’s been gracious to teach us a lot and grow us in our relationship and dependence on Him and in each other. We would appreciate your prayers.

Originally posted January 20th: Former General Hospital star Chad Brannon, 27, and his wife Carly are expecting their first child in late spring.

He announced the news on his official message board saying,

My wife is an adorable pregnant woman and we are very excited.  Our due date is our one year wedding anniversary, May 28th!

Chad and Carly married last year.

I’m not familiar with this actor but what a sad loss. I’m pregnant right now myself and can’t imagine how they’re feeling. We are also very devoted in our religion and I must say it’s also pretty amazing to hear him and his wife be so devoted to their faith and not shy about saying so. It’s rare to hear that from celebrities. I will be praying for these people and hope they continue to turn to God for strength in an incredibly hard time.

Oh that is so very sad! I loved him as Zander and GH!!! My thoughts are with them. I cannot imagine losing a baby at that stage of pregnancy. I am assuming since the baby was due late spring that she was either born too premature or stillborn or something?? That is just so sad. I have a friend who lost her son at 20 weeks and another at 16 weeks and it was so hard for her. My heart goes out to them.
