Marcia Cross out for "me" time

Just Jared has new photos of actress Marcia Cross out in Santa Monica on Sunday. It looks as if the  Desperate Housewives star decided to take some "me" time, catching up with her friends for some gal-bonding mani-pedis and coffee. After having her fun, Marcia ran some family errands, picking up groceries and flowers at Whole Foods Market.

Marcia and her stockbroker hubby, Tom Mahoney, have been busy with their 6-week-old baby girls, fraternal twins Eden and Savannah.

Did you take some "me" time shortly after giving birth? How important was it for you or your significant other to have some time out of the house after having children?

No, I didn’t take any me time for months as I was breastfeeding around the clock and on demand. I couldn’t work the breast pump satisfactorily and simply couldn’t be away from my baby. I went a bit crazy to be honest. It was a horrible time as not a single friend of mine had had a baby then. I was the first and pretty much alone, so no me time at all Now, 2 years later, it’s a different story.

Marcia looks good for having twins less than 2 months ago. I hope she shows the babies soon, I bet they are adorable.

I used to spend the whole day Saturday with my friend shopping and having dinner at her house. Reagan was about 3 months when i started this. Her dad used to phone me all day as she would cry with him. He expected me to come home and deal with her. My thought on it is i have them all week, a couple of hours on a saturday wont kill him!! I loved those Saturdays!!

I am glad that she makes time for her
friends. Some of my friends have had
babies and I don’t hear from them
anymore. I feel like I’ve lost them to
parenthood.
