Ben Affleck gives Violet a smooch
Ben Affleck can’t resist giving daughter Violet Anne Affleck, 16 months, a kiss before loading her into the car after a trip to the Brentwood Farmer’s Market on Sunday.
The Afflecks are big fans of farmer’s markets. Violet and her mom Jennifer Garner were recently photographed at a Santa Monica farmer’s market a few weeks ago, where Violet chowed down on some strawberries.
What makes a farmer’s market different than shopping at a supermarket? The products are literally farm-fresh. Because they are sold by the farmers themselves, the farmers tend to make more money and you are guaranteed a fresher product. Besides produce, they also sell baked goods, dairy products, eggs, prepared foods, and other delectable goodies, and some include local artisans’ work, kids’ activities and entertainment. All Certified Farmers Markets sell produce that is grown in California. Small farmers also tend to use organic and/or sustainable methods, which means the food is healthier for you and better for the environment.
In the second photo, Violet rides in her Maclaren Techno XT 2006 Sky Blue, and is holding her Max Daniel Rosebuds and Satin security blanket in butter (save 10% when you buy any Max Daniel blanket at Her Haven (formerly Care For The Kids), use code MAX1010 to save 10% Boutique when you use coupon code max1010). Estelle at CelebBabyGear tells us Violet is wearing her new Naturino Caribbean pink embellished shoes ($110), but the mary jane style.
