Country and gospel singer Billy Ray Cyrus became famous with his song Achy Breaky Heart – but these days, his heart and family life are certainly very full.
He and his wife Leticia have three children together – Destiny Hope (known as Miley), 14,Noah, 6, and Braison, 12. Leticia has two children from aprevious relationship, Trace, 17, daughter Brandi, 19 – andBilly also has a son Christopher from a previous relationship.
He says that some of his favorite times are just hanging out with his kids on their 500-acre Tennessee farm.
I may not be a gourmet chef, but my kids love it when I cook burgers on the grill. No secret recipe – I just try not to burn them too bad. But we’re having a good ol’ time as a family. It’s more about that than the meat.
As for having ‘date nights’ with his wife, Billy admits that they would rather be at home!
The last time my wife and I went on a date was last month, when we went to the movies. I don’t remember which one only that we left in the middle… We came home and played Ping-Pong and shot pool with the kids for hours, which was much more entertaining.
Billy and his daughter Miley co-star in the Disney Channel series Hannah Montana. He also stars in the ABC show Dancing with the Stars.
