Thijs Lauer, who turns 4 months old this week, enjoys a stroller ride in NYC on Thursday with model mom Annette Roque. Thijs, pronounced ‘Tice,’ is a Dutch version of Matthew and celebrates mom’s heritage, while also honoring dad Matt Lauer.

Thijs wears babyGap’s triple-roll socks in navy ($3), and rides in Maclaren’s 2006 version of the Techno XT in storm gray ($300).

rhymes with nice. i had a roommate who met someone from the netherlands and it took me forever to remember how to say it. she would always say “thijs is nice!”
