We have written about our love for Robeez in the past. Now thesoft-soled shoe line has done something to make us love them even more.
Recently Robeez donated $1 million worth of shoes andbooties. The donation of more than 36,000 pairs of Robeez – which wouldstretch almost six miles if laid heel to toe – fulfills a promise from thecompany’s “Season of Giving.” For every pair of shoes or booties purchased on Robeez’swebsites in North America, Europe, and Australia during November and December2006, Robeez pledged to match it with a donation to Kids In DistressedSituations, Inc. (K.I.D.S.), a charity committed to helping children in needall over the world.
Since 2003, Robeez has donated 135,000 pairs of shoes and booties, adonation that would reach over four times the height of MountEverest if stacked heel to toe. Through its Heart & Soleprogram of charitable giving, Robeez regularly provides shoes to children in China, Russia, Romania, Ethiopia and throughout NorthAmerica.
