Dannielynn DNA testing is completed

Update: Both Larry Birkhead and Dannielynn have given DNA samples, and Larry saw Dannielynn at the doctor’s office. For those wondering, Howard does not need to give a sample as he is the presumed father at this time (as stated on the birth certificate).

Originally posted 10:30 am: TMZ reports that Howard K. Stern and Dannielynn, 6 months, have left their home and are en route to obtain a DNA test on the baby. Results will be available in four days or less. Yesterday, the judge in the paternity case ordered a DNA test be completed, leaving Larry Birkhead ecstatic.

I am so glad they finally are doing this. I think they need to get that child with the right parent and let her settle in. 6 months old she should adjust well but lingering a case like this on and on is terrable.

I’ve heard something about Howard appealing, which will put a hold on the results being announced (next hearing is April 3rd, I think). I wouldn’t put it passed him – he wants to hold on to her as long as possible so that she bonds with him, therefore a judge would be less likely to give custody to Larry (even if he is proven to be the father).

I think Larry is the dad why else would Howard be delaying this. I think that is not right to delay something of this nature. It should be illegal that kid needs to get to the parent and bond not be bonded to one parent and torn apart.

I’m gonna cry when the results come in because I know howard isn’t DannieLynn’s bio father, but he is her daddy! I’ve been pulling for howard from the begining but the chances of him being the biological father are slim. God help this family.

Why should that child be with Howard who is not her father.
Howard just wants to use that child to generate money for him for the next 18 years. She’s Howards cash cow.

Howard is who Anna herself acknowledged as Dannielynn’s father. I agree with you Punk_of_a_Tomboy, since the beginning I have been rooting for Howard too!

I will feel bad when the results come in Dannielynn isn’t Howard’s because he has been there since the baby was born and loves her. But Larry has a right to know if that’s his daughter, and she looks like him, I think she is his. He has been fighting to get this baby tested from the start, and I think deep inside Larry knows she is his. Poor Dannielynn lost her mom so young, but hopefully whoever is her dad can raise her properly and love her the right way.

Howard comes across as a really dishonest guy (just my personal opinion) and if the test results are delayed because of him, that would be a tragedy. Dannielynn has a right to know who her biological father is. I don’t necessarily believe that Howard has her best interests at heart. I’m sure that the money is a huge motivating factor for him.

The people here who feel bad for Howard are RIDICULOUS! Are you kidding me??? This is a guy who people have quoted as being a manipulative leach, he lived off of Anna Nicole for 10 YEARS and is now CLAIMING this child is his, when it is OBVIOUS that he knows she’s not his. Why else would he stall and delay and NOT want a DNA test done??? If he is the father, what should he be scared of? If Larry is the father, he has been ROBBED, outright ROBBED, of precious time with his daughter. This has been completely unfair to him, just because Anna randomely decided she would like Howard to be on the baby’s birth certificate. I hope that when the test comes back and proves that Larry is the father that Dani is immediately put into his care, once that is made official he should have NO right to her. He has already stolen time with her and I dont see him as anything but a negative force in the baby’s life. In various interviews and home video clips he has made it apparent that he “was ok with” Anna’s drug issues and he just let her do her own thing, even when she was pregnant, just because she “was a strong person with her own opinions”…that’s a really great point of view for a impending father to think when his “lover” is pregnant with his child. REALLY mature. I hope Dani gets taken away from him ASAP.

Dannielynn should be w/the person who loves her the most. She should also be w/someone who has her best interest at heart. Although I feel Howard is a leach and not her father, I do feel he loves her very much and will be a great father. Not to say Larry wouldn’t be, but I feel he is trying to gain popularity by pushing the issue and etc. I feel whomever gets custody, should take Dannielynn and drop out of sight. I don’t feel she should live her life in the limelight until she is old enough to make that decision for herself.

How can anyone presume to know what kind of person either howard or larry are?

If larry was the father, has it occurred to anyone that if anna lied she had a reason. I mean comone, Larry is better looking right,why would she not want to raise her baby with someone who it seems cared about her.

i think its going to be hilarious when it comes out that Larry isnt the father, he is counting his chickens before they hatch, And it really annoys me.

Anna didnt want him in her life anymore for a reason.

and FYI howard wasnt the one stalling, anna was, she said and i quote “why should i have to take a DNA test?”

She is right, how many of you would submit, if some other guy came along and claimed he was your babies father, and not the man you loved and were living with?

And Dannilynne looks like anna, to say she looks like either howard or larry is silly.

She is an anna clone, and since larry birdhead is fair haired and fair complected that is the only resemblance he and Dannilynne have in common.

Also you all go put a pic of larry and howard side by side.

And look how similar they look. Eye slant, mouth, cheekbones. There is quite a bit there.

Uhm, well personally, I never thought ANS was denying that LB was the father because she was concerned about his parenting skills. I got the impression that she was trying to keep Dannielynn from being taken from her. She knew that while Howard didn’t mind her drug use, and allegedly even encouraged it, Larry did not approve of those kinds of activities, esp around the baby, and would probably use that in a custodial case against her. I am glad the DNA test was done and I hope Dannielynn can be raised by her true father soon. And I guess we won’t know until the results become public, but I truly believe that it will end up being LB.

are you kidding? There isn’t a SLIGHT resemblance to Howard. Howard has a VERY prominent face, with a large nose and a dark complection. Don’t you think Dani would have inherited at least either darker hair or SOMETHING familiar to Howard’s features??? And you are completely wrong in your assumption that a woman can just say, “HEY, ya know what, I dont love the guy that got me pregnant so ya know what, I’m just gonna have this guy be the daddy and knock the other guy out of the picture” that’s just WRONG. You can’t eliminate a man’s right to his child just because you dont like him anymore of are in love with someone else you would rather have raise your child. It’s WRONG. PERIOD. Anna’s choices in life weren’t always moral, she married a senile, dying old man for his billions of dollars, she was obviously on drugs, she displayed her nude body for men to gape at, and she made a public mockery of herself time and time again…I dont know how you can just sit there and say, “well, she liked Howard more so he must be the better man to raise the baby” because she obviously wasnt a good decision maker and a good judge of character. No offense to her since she is deceased and all. I just think it is unfair to deny a man his right to his child.

You know, this ANS stuff has been going on for far too long, but I understand that the public is curious about the paternity of her child. I just read an article suggesting that Daniel (her late son) was considering hiring a PI because he suspected that HS was keeping her in a drug-induced state and lording over her (ANS) like a Svengali, turning her into a virtual hostage. However, he never followed through; perhaps, there is a linkage to his mysterious and untimely demise. Hmmm???? And I don’t know about you, but every time she appeared in interviews during the Bahamas period, she seemed a tad bid high and/or disoriented with her language slurring and what not. And I’d always say to myself, “If HS is such a ‘lover and friend’, why would he let her go on camera like that?” It just didn’t add up, but what does add up is that HS it the one constant presence in the whole tragedy, and that if he retains custody of the baby, he portend to have access to nearly a half-billion in resources. This is definitely a potential motive.

But speculation notwithstanding, this I know is true, ANS life was a tragedy. Her whole career, for lack of better and more appropriate terminology, was self-sexploitation to the highest bidder. Her self-esteem must have been very low, which is why she kept searching; I suspect, looking for validation. I mean look at how many different men she had to be sleeping with at the time DL was conceived. The real tragedy is that it seems ANS never came into her own. Its like the lyrics to that song, “I’ve been to paradise, but I’ve never been to me.”
