Angelina Jolie and Pax in Hanoi to obtain visa

03/20/2007 at 11:46 AM ET

Angelina Jolie is one step closer to bringing home her new 3 year old son, Pax Thien Jolie, whom she adopted last week from a Vietnam orphanage. Angelina flew into Hanoi on Monday to complete the procedures to bring Pax to the United States. On Tuesday, she is expected to meet with U.S. Embassy officials to deal with the visa application. Once the visa is issued, the two will be free to fly back to America and begin their new lives together, and Angelina will finally have the chance to introduce Pax to the rest of the family, including sisters Zahara, 2, and baby Shiloh, 10 months old. Maddox, 5, has already met his new little brother.

Mom Said It

"I had to make a decision that I could sleep with every night. I did feel responsible for the young girls who I probably confused and let down. I apologize for that. But I wasn't trying to glamorize teen pregnancy."
