Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott welcome their son

Update:
Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott welcomed their son, Liam Aaron McDermott, today. Liam arrived by c-section and weighed in at 6 lbs, 6 oz, when he was born at Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Star Magazine has a photo of Tori and Dean arriving at the hospital.  She definitely looks like she’s in pain!

According to Extra, Tori Spelling went into labor with her and husband Dean McDermott‘s first child together.  They checked into LA’s Cedars-Sinai Hospital (where many celebs give birth, including Julia Roberts). Their baby is a boy whose middle name will be Aaron, after Tori’s father, Aaron Spelling, who passed away last year.

What do you think his first name will be?

I can’t say that this is a pending birth that I’ve been excited about bc I am not a Tori and Dean fan however this pregnancy to me went by really fast.

Most people who have elective c-sections from my understanding have them early enough as to not go into labor. If her water broke the night before which has been reported and she didn’t have him until Tuesday afternoon or evening, more than likely her labor was not progressing quickly enough. If the baby is showing signs of distress and she’s not at 10 cm yet, there are really no other options if they have to get the baby out quickly. If she was choosing to have a c-section right off the bat, I think they would have done it soon after getting to the hospital the night before. Either way, it’s her choice but based on information that was reported, it sounds more like it was neccessary.

Oddly enough I have never been a huge fan of Tori Spelling’s but I’m happy to hear that she delivered a healthy baby. I think the whole money thing and her inheritance was a blessing in disguise because I find her to be more humbling. And for the 1st time seemed to have to fend for herself and stand on her own two feet without the help of her rich parents. She’ll ultimately have more money coming her way in the future and I think her mother was just trying to teach her a lesson. And she seemed to have learned it. Moseltof to her and her family! Dean seems to really love her.

cindy they are reconciling. candy was with her when she was in labor. this wasn’t a planned c-section-tori had tv appearances lined up the day before and day after the birth. they also had dean’s son with them the day tori went into labor, visiting on vacation.she wasn’t due til end of the month.
