Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole pregnant?

Update: Cheryl has denied to the UK’s The Sun that she is expecting.

Originally posted March 7th:Rumors are swirling that Cheryl Cole, one-fifth of the British girl pop group Girls Aloud, is three months pregnant with her first child. Friends of Cheryl and her soccer star husband, Ashley Cole, are dropping hints that Cheryl is a mother-to-be. Says a source:

Cheryl and Ashley have been wanting a family for ages now, it wouldbe the seal on their relationship and Ashley’s friends have been makingit their business to talk about it. It is the talk among Ashley’s football gang.

Cheryl’s bandmate, Nadine Coyle, is also fueling the rumors when she reportedly refused to confirm or deny the pregnancy, but "stood there with a wry smile on her face" when asked.

Not helping matters are the numerous nixed scheduled appearances the 23-year-old has pulled out of during the last month. Cheryl hasn’t been seen in public since December, prompting even more speculation.

Cheryl and Ashley were married in July 2006.

I absolutely adore Cheryl and think her and Ashley make a cute couple so I hope it’s true. I will definitely be looking out for any sort of baby bump when Cheryl performs with Girls Aloud on Red Nose Day – Big One (a charity event) March 16th.

I don’t know whether Cheryl is pregnant or not, I think it’s just such a lovely change of pace that Cheryl and Ashley are married, and NOW rumors of a baby are starting to circulate.
