Fountains of Wayne bassist welcomes second daughter

Stacy’s Mom songwriter Adam Schlesinger has welcomed his second child with wife Katie Michel Claire Michel was born on Monday, March 5th, and weighed in at 8lbs 4oz. She joins big sister Sadie, 4.

Adam is the bassist for the Grammy-nominated band Fountains of Wayne and was an Academy Award and Golden Globe nominee for the title track from the Tom Hanks movie That Thing You Do! You can currently hear his music in the romantic comedy Music and Lyrics with Drew Barrymoore and Hugh Grant, in theatres now.
