PregWatch: Elisabeth Hasselbeck

Is Elisabeth Hasselbeck pregnant? Celebrity Baby Blog readers have been writing in every day with their Elisabeth observations.  It doesn’t hurt that she’s been wearing an awful lot of loose-fitting, flowy and/or empire waist tops. According to Watching the View, "Elisabeth likes to wear big tops very often, even when she is notpregnant, so that, in itself, is not conclusive proof of pregnancy."

I’m watching the show right now and noticed that she is sitting between Rosie O’Donnell and Joy Behar, instead of at the end.  Is this because they are trying to hide her belly?  Elisabeth is also wearing another flowy shirt. 

Also, when she was on the Martha Stewart Show last week, she wore another flowy top.

Elisabeth and her husband Tim Hasselbeck have a 22 month old daughter, Grace.

I’m watching the show too but she did say on the show today that she was debating doing the ‘dancing with stars’ show but as she stated, ‘she’s trying to get pregnant.’ So she is still talking about trying, so I don’t know. But I have also noticed her ‘flowy’ clothes and her face to me looks a bit fuller.

I watched the show yesterday and she wore a form fitting dress/skirt. I noticed a “barely there” bump, but it didn’t look like a baby bump at all (maybe just a big breakfast?). A few days ago she wore a pink dress that clearly looked like a maternity dress though.

Hmmm…dunno. I did wonder why she wasn’t in her usual spot today.
Yesterday they were talking about lowfat ice cream hindering conception and Elisabeth said she’ll have to start eating high fat icecream.
I’ve been thinking Kelly Ripa has been wearing pretty flowy clothes lately as well.

Whenever Barbara is gone Elisabeth sits on the end. Whenever Barbara is there Elisabeth sits in her regular chair next to Rosie. When Barbara is there and Rosie is not, Barbara would sit in Rosie’s chair and the guest host would normally be in Elisabeth’s chair and Elisabeth on the end. But her usual chair is next to Rosie.

you could so see a bump on wednesdays show when she entered t the beggining of the show there was a good shot of her side profile and also when angela basset and her husband came out there was also another good side shot. it really looks like she is pregnant. she might be saying that they are trying to throw off rumors.. either way, congrats if she is!

Typically on the days that Barbara and Rosie are both on, Elisabeth doesn’t get the end seat, so that is an alternative reason for her being in the middle today.

She had on a very tight form-fitting pencil skirt and tight top on The View yesterday. She didn’t look pregnant. Plus, she again mentioned she’s trying to get pregnant.

She could be bloated, or gaining weight, from fertility drugs, if she’s undergoing fertility treatments. Particularly the stronger, injectible drugs can cause a lot of abdominal bloat.

Today’s style can make anyone look pregnant. The tunic tops that flow out are big right now. I know that I wear them and I always look like I’m pregnant!

But Elisabeth has imho the worst style out of all the women. I can’t stand her outfit choices.

But she did mention today she’s ‘trying’ to get pregnant so I don’t think she is.

Yesterday on hte show she made that comment to start eating lots of ice cream, so I don’t think she is. But I do agree something is up with Kelly Ripa. She I think she is!

Yesterday she was wearing a tight skirt and there was a bump that is normally not there. She is constantly sitting really straight, sucking her tummy in all while checking herself out in the monitors. I think she is trying to look and act as if she is not pregnant since she is probably early on. Also, she did mention yesterday that she needed to buy full fat ice cream after the study was mentioned that full fat ice cream can increase your fertility. All a ploy I suspect.

Not pregnant. She said she was going to buy out the ice cream store when they said high fat ice cream helped with conception. A pg woman would not say that.

one more thing— I *DO* believe that she is on some sort of hormonal fertility treatment. Perhaps this is why she is looking a little fuller in the face and rounder than usual. Hormonal shots/pills can make you bloat up (not that she looks remotely fat).

I watched yesterday (2/28), and her stomach looked flat as a pancake to me. She was wearing a white long-sleeved shirt over a short-sleeved pink one. Very formfitting. She did NOT look pregnant at all.

I was walking through the mall last week and every store is filled with manequins wearing empire waisted shirts. I commented to my sister that she’d look cute in one and she said, “And have everyone asking me if I’m pregnant all the time?! NO!” Maybe Elizabeth is just being dressed by an absent minded stylist. (But secretly, I hope she is pregnant! She’s sweet!)

Yes – she was wearing a black skirt on Wednesdays show and being that it was tight fitting, you could CLEARLY see the baby bump when she turned to the side. I think she is throwing out random comments about wanting to be pregnant to throw people off. I am currently in my 1st trimester and saying those very same things. I am predicting that she will announce next week somtime.

Yeah I know exactly what you’re talking about sarawara. Those empire waist tops and jumpers are cute, but if I bought any to wear, I’m afraid everybody would think I was pregnant (and be an unwed mother at that)…or at least my mom would start to wonder.

I feel bad that I’m not at the place in my life where having kids is a possibility, although my age and today’s fashions would make it so perfect!

Anyway, I have no idea if Elizabeth is pregnant yet again, so we’ll just have to wait and see.

never understood the appeal of Elisabeth at all. She irks me the most out of all of them on The View. But, if she is pregnant then congrats! I know they have been trying for some time now. It sucks to try so hard and have problems!

I watch The View everyday and I cannot say either way if she is pregnant or not. The only thing I was wondering was why she isn’t touching up her roots. That could be a clue.

I watch the view almost ever day as with regis and kelly and the last couple days I have really noticed that kelly looked like she was wearing maternity clothes. As for Elisabeth, she has been dressing like this for a while. But who knows…..my guess would be Kelly yes, Elisabeth no

I remember several weeks ago she mentioned doing some activity at home (I forgot what it was), and then said, “No wonder why I’m not pregnant right now.” I immediately thought, oh she’s NOT pregnant because she did LOOK pregnant a few months ago with some outfits she was wearing. She does seem to like empired-waist stuff. Maybe it’s freudian…

I was just out shopping yesterday and could not believe how much all of the shirts looked like maternity tops. Some even have tie backs! I think if you decide to wear one of these you should be prepared to field the “when are you due” comments!

It is really hard to tell. She really looks a little fuller but by the comments she makes, it seems that she is not pregnant. I remember she announced her last pregnancy at 13 1/2 weeks because we due at the same time.
