It's Baby Silk for the McDreamy twins

Picture_3_1
Developed by Dr. Moms, two board certified pediatricians and mothers, Babysilk is a line of hypoallergenic skin care products made with natural, high-quality ingredients. New twins of Patrick "McDreamy" Dempsey, Darby and Sullivan, were gifted with an entire basket of Babysilk from the ever-popular celebrity baby boutique, Petit Tresor.

One of Babysilk‘s innovative products are the Babysilk Babysafe SunScreen Towelettes.  Each wipe contains enough SPF 30+ sunscreen for your baby’s entire body, and is enriched with soothing ingredients to soften and moisturize. Imagine how easy it would be to apply and re-apply sunscreen by simply "wiping" your baby! These sweat-proof wipes can also be used on mom and dad. Gentle All-Over Clean, Umbilical Cord Care, and Soothing Bottom Relief are some of their popular items, as well as four gift sets that make gift-giving easy! Babysilk  is also available in travel sized items for on-the-go skin care.

You are able to purchase Babysilk products directly from their website, www.mdmoms.com, where you can also view friendly suggestions and safety tips from Dr. Moms themselves. A list of ingredients for every product is available on the website as well.

There’s no question as to why Babysilk is a celebrity favorite among Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Garner, Courtney Cox, Brooke Shields and more!

Does anyone know if these moisturizers are good for toddlers with eczema?? Both of my girls have it and I’m looking for good cremes.
Thanks!

Kate:

Here’s what Dr.’s JJ and Diane (the MD Moms) have to say about treating eczema, and the use of their products:

“In general, treating eczema entails the use of gentle cleansers rather than soap and a liberal use of emollients.
In our practices and experience, we have had success using cleansers (specifically, our Gentle All-Over Clean) versus soaps and application of rich, hypoallergenic emollients (again, we’ve had success with our Daily Skin Protection Moisturizing Balm), particularly while baby’s skin is still damp from the bath. It is important to reapply the balm or chosen emollient several times throughout the day…too little reapplication is a very common mistake that parents make.
Repeated application generally results in skin with less itch, and therefore less rash.
When looking for ingredients, it is best to steer clear of ingredients such as lanolin, petrolatum and mineral oil which are known to irritate skin with eczema. Products with natural moisturizers such as shea butter and avocado, and soothing ingredients such as aloe and oat extract are likely to help skin retain moisture and soothe irritated areas.”

Hope this helps!
