Chris Daughtry: "My daughter uses me"

Now that American Idol finalist Chris Daughtry‘s debut album Daughtry is certified platinum and continuing to fly off shelves, he is a full-fledged rock star. No one is taking more advantage of his new status than his stepdaughter, Hannah, 10.

My daughter loves Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood …There are so many singers my daughter wants to use me for – Hilary Duff, everybody in High School Musical, Hannah Montana. You name it, she’s all over it.

Chris and his wife, Deanna, have been married for six years. They also raise a son, Griffin, 8.

Chris Daughtry is absolutely delicious!!! My husband and I are huge fans of his debut album. We loved him on A.I. My husband is very understanding about my terminology when referring to Mr. Daughtry. DELICIOUS is a word I use quite frequently. (Note: the hubby just rolls his eyes.) Chris and Deanna have a lovely family. He seems like a great step-dad to their children. I hope they have a baby or two of their own soon!

Amen to that, Josie! He is SO hot (I know, picture of maturity, lol!), not to mention a fabulous singer. He is a real talent unlike so many of the wannabes on that show. I don’t know much about his personal life, but I think it’s awesome how he raises his step-kids as if they’re his own. I heard him in a radio interview once talking about “his kids,” and the way he talked about them made me automatically assume they were biological. And especially with him being so young (27, and he was 21 when he married Deanna and took on being a dad to a 4-year-old and 2-year-old), that is especially impressive. Nice catch, Deanna!

I don’t know if this is true, but a friend of mine lives in the same town as Chris. He said that his stepkids are actually his brother’s biological children. His brother was married to the woman who is now Chris’ wife, but he was killed in a car wreck or something and Chris became close to his sister-in-law while helping out with the children and they fell in love and got married. Like I said, don’t know if it’s true!

I actually read when he was on American Idol, that his wife had a hystorectomy, so she can’t have any more kids.

I read that Step-Daughter is Hannah Price. Adopted son is Griffin Daughtry.

His wife’s name is Deanna Robertson.

However, nowadays last names don’t mean a thing. But she even has a different last name then her daughter.

But maybe Peedinkle is right but it was with Griffin. He was born the same year they got married. But doesn’t say that on the site I get most of my info. from.

I went to summer camp with Hannah and Griffen. They are bother super nice and really down to earth. I think Hannah really takes advantage of her privliges but understands that she’s very lucky. She loves her step dad! Thats for sure!
