Larry Birkhead finally gets to meet Dannielynn

TMZ.com is reporting that Larry Birkhead—the man who claims he is the father of the late Anna Nicole’s baby, Dannielynn, 5 months—got to finally meet the baby whom he believes to be his daughter, this past weekend. It is said he met her at Horizons in the Bahamas, the house in which Howard K. Stern (Anna’s companion, the man on the infant’s birth certificate) is currently living. No further details were released.
Meanwhile, Larry Birkhead and his attorney Debra Opri were in court today regarding the custody of baby Dannielynn. Howard was noticeably absent but said to be at home caring for the baby (who is currently in his custody). After the hearing Debra Opri said that she suspected fraud in the child’s birth certificate, explaining there was a “big hole” in the document. Nothing more was said as she exited the courtroom with her client, both giving thumbs up to the cameras.

It is not known what was discussed in the hearing but we do know an additional hearing in the matter is scheduled for March 16th.

My heart goes out to that baby suddenly without a mother and questionable paternity. It is nice to know that attempts are being made by the opposing parties to come together for the sake of Dannielynn.

She is so adorable and pretty and I have to admit that I see a strong resemblance to Larry Birkhead. I wouldn’t be surprised if he turns out to be the biological father if and when the paternity tests are carried out.

I think that Dannielynn is surrounded by people who care about her welfare and love her.

My respect for Howard continues to drop. This is a man who has been living off of an OBVIOUSLY mentally and physically incapable woman (cmon, she either had a serious, extreme drug addiction or a serious mental problem) and is now going to most likely get her money. He needs to PROVE to the world that he isn’t a money grubbing, mooching, scumbag and give Larry the paternity test he deserves. Doesn’t Howard notice that this baby doesn’t look a THING like him? I hope and pray that Larry gets the rights he deserves as her biological father.

I think it’s horrible that it’s all so public. I don’t see what the ‘fraud’ in a birth certificate would be. Surely it’s just a matter of signing your name on it?

Glad he finally got to meet Dannielynn. I really think that they need to hurry up and do a paternity test. Doesn’t Howard understand that the longer he delays, the older Dannielynn gets, and the harder it’s going to be on her if Larry does turn out to be her father? She’s already lost her mother, the longer she goes staying with Howard if Larry’s determined to be her father, the more difficult it is going to be on that baby.

Ah come on! HK Stern was head over heels IN LOVE with Anna Nicole and anyone with half a brain can figure out that a drug user will always love the person who gets her/him the drugs. Poor Howard, he has been bashed to death because he loved Anna Nicole. She was a and whatever he gets out of it HE DESERVES! If I had millions, I’d bail him out! He is from a decent family and I don’t believe he is a bad guy. He loved and lost two people he loved and now he will lose the third one. I wish he were the real father. I cannot stand Larry Birkhead!

regardless of whether we like the men involved in this situation or not, the child belongs with her biological father, period. And that paternity needs to be undeniably tested, now. Before the child gets any older – she’s the one who is going to suffer here. Is already. The adults…they made their beds already. Now they need to be men enough to lie in them. Stern’s refusal to have the DNA tested says more clearly than anything that he doesn’t believe he’s the father. If he was so sure – what would be the hold-up, he’d want Birkhead off his back already. Unless of course he’s soaking in the spotlight and doesn’t want to give _that_ up.

Reading this makes me want to cry. I am SO happy for Larry. SO HAPPY! I really hate the Bahamas. I hear that if they dont want to have a paternity test, than they actually dont have to. Pretty damn sick! I hope one day very soon that- that baby goes home with her REAL father and Stern goes to jail.

I’ve heard something about Howard apparently not signing the birth certificate – don’t know if that is true or not, but that is what is going around the rumor mill.

And apparently Howard is backing down because his lawyer allegedly swiped one of Larry’s styrofoam cups (on camera) during court one day and had it tested, proving DannieLynn is really his. So now Howard is apparently “negotiating” with him – he wants full control over Anna’s estate (surprise, surprise).

I think that Howard KNOWS that the baby is Larry Birkhead’s child. Why else would Howard be cooperating with Larry? I also believe that Howard & Anna knew this when the baby was born & when they filled out the birth certificate. Inevitably, there will be DNA testing. Howard knows that — which makes him want to appear cooperative now.

Howard started out as Anna’s attorney & then got caught up in the lifestyle, $$, etc. I don’t think it was intentional. It just happened along the way. The drugs probably started innocently & then just snowballed; obviously an addiction to more than one person in the family.

Howard was Anna’s confidante, and, probably sometimes lover. But not the LOVE of her life — she kept searching for that. Larry came along, she thought maybe she loved him, they had a relationship which produced the baby.

Obviously I don’t know any of this for certain. What a mess & how sad. SO many lawsuits. Hopefully Dannielynn will find her way to a stable, loving home environment. Though I’m not sure that is available with any of the parties involved. Probably not for a stranger to say — just hope and pray for the best.

I commend Howard (and Larry to a certain extent)for being classy enough to swallow whatever bitterness there has to be and allow Birkhead to see Dannielynn. The rational part of me says this was part of the deal for Anna’s burial though, Larry joined the “we shall over come” committee and he got to see the baby. I’m not totally convinced that Larry is the father either. By his own testimony she had a negative pregnancy test after January 3rd (after she thought she was pregnant in November/December and had him sign a confidentiality agreement about her pregnancy and paternity on that specific day) and got pregnant sometime after that in the middle/end of January. No amount of math produces a healthy full term 6 pound 9 ounce baby a little under 8 months later on September 7th. We’ve heard nothing about her being premature, and she certainly wasn’t underweight. Even if she was two weeks early it would have been 37-38 weeks, not 31-32 weeks. How ironic would it be if after all of this Howard really is the father or at the very least Birkhead isn’t. I’d like to see alot of faces LOL.

Grayson’s Girl, I noticed the dates are off too. If the baby was born on September. 7th and was full term then she got pregnant early to mid December. I could have sworn Larry testified that he was with her after New Years and not in December, so the dates don’t add up for Larry.

However, I don’t think that Anna Nicole was in love with Howard, and I don’t think he is the father. And I don’t know how in love with her he really was when he was getting drugs in his name to give to her even when she was pregnant. I am 4 month pregnant and there is no way my husband would give me anything that would hurt me or our baby. You should check out Anna’s pregnancy video Howard taped laughing when she was on drugs. I don’t think a “husband” who loved his “wife” would do that.

Jen, he did testify that she left before Thanksgiving and didn’t return until New Years. He also said he was given a two week window for conception in the middle of January by specialists in another interview. No matter how I add and subtract I can’t get those numbers to work for him. By all accounts the baby was full term and healthy, I didn’t see any team from the NICU or any other signs of the preparations for a premee baby in the video of her birth.

As for the video, I saw those 51 seconds and I want to see the whole thing before I hang Howard. The people who released it have been running around weeping and wailing that Anna was their friend while selling off her personal effects to the highest bidder. She was involved in litigation with them over the house and by their actions since (the specific and pointed shots of her and the immigration guy that looked totally different in context than what was portrayed, the pictures of her purported fridge sold to tmz, now the release of those 51 seconds) I think it’s safe to say there’s a very large and pointed agenda there. I think Howard and Anna loved each other dearly in the end but I think they had a codependent relationship. There was a level of dysfunction there that can’t be denied but as things stand it seems to me she was right to trust him. He’s the only one who even in death refuses to disparage her in any way. I don’t think he’s perfect, and I think he made many mistakes, but I don’t buy this Howard is satan nonsense. Everyone in this equation, including Anna and save for Dannielynn, own their part. There are no saints or boy scouts IMO.

Larry Birkhead claimed that he had no contact with Anna between Thanksgiving/November 2005-Jan. 1, 2006? I didn’t realise that.

Well if so, that does put Dannielynn’s conception in the rhelm of the unknown. I remember teasing my younger brother, saying he must have been concieved when John Lennon died, because I’d calculated mathematically that his birthdate Sept. 10, 1981 was exactly 9-10 months after Lennon’s murder ironically. (And strangely enough my brother, who’s first two initials are JW, had a few coincidences w/Lennon such as the college gf named Cindy/Cynthia, needing glasses, being a bit eccentric sometimes. Unfortunately my brother never formed any band or anything. lol.)

Anyway, such is the case with Dannielynn. If she was born full term on Sept. 7th, then most likely she would’ve been concieved in early December sometime.

Hopefully Dannielynn will be able to go to her father, whoever he might be! (I just hope it’s the guy with her best interests at heart, and not just her share of her mother’s estate, if not J. Howard Marshall’s!)

If either of them men are the father, I believe it is Larry Birkhead. The only thing is, I don’t trust the Bahamas. I think they may say the baby is Howard’s even if she isn’t.

I am so happy to hear that Larry Birkhead has finally gotten to meet Dannielynn. I really have no idea whose baby this is. It could be Larry’s, it could be Howard’s. It could be some other guy’s. Howard loses credibility the longer he pushes the DNA tests back. Larry seems to be the frontrunner as all he wants is to find out if he’s the father of this beautiful baby! I really, really hope this whole issue gets solved soon.

anna tell him that he was the father or did someone esle tell this be larry better think about it possitly someone wants to trouble between them.if that is the case he better have a little talk with that person. aks them strianght out are sure them the father of her are such treid to sure upo trouble for mer and stern and the late anna nicole smith.
