Australian tennis player and media favorite, Lleyton Hewitt and wife, Bec, were in the February 12th issue of Woman’s Day. They have a daughter Mia Rebecca, who is almost 15 months. The couple married in July 2005, after a whirlwind relationship and pregnancy. They currently live between their homes in Palm Beach, Dural and a penthouse in Melbourne. The couple have an exclusive deal with Woman’s Day and Bec writes a monthly column for the magazine.

Mia is walking and talking!
Mia’s learning new words and actions everyday. I am really enjoying the age she is now. She’s so much fun. She’s old enough to play games and give you a cuddle, yet not at the age of throwing tantrums. She is just delightful, a pleasure to be around. And yes, she’s walking everywhere. I was so excited to buy Mia her first pair of walking shoes and I’ve baby proofed the whole house. She is also says lots of words now and it must feel great for her to be able to communicate with us now. Her most favorite and useful words are “no”, “up”, “more” and “Mum”. Both Lleyton and I are having a great time being parents. We wouldn’t change it for anything.
Bec and Mia hang in the pool and with Mia’s cousin.
I enjoy taking Mia for swims in the pool, and catching up with my sister and her five-month-old baby girl, Brooke.
Do they think Mia will be sporty or girly?
She has lots of energy but is still a real little girl and loves to comb her hair (what she has of it!) and play with baby dolls.
