The designer probably knows that Naomi’s rep is never going to publicly announce her pregnancy. Also they probably assume that everyone 1) knows and 2) can visibly tell that she’s pregnant. I’d guess about 3 months, going on 4. Naomi is extremely petite and skinny, so she’d be showing early. Congrats to her and Liev! I think she’s a gorgeous woman and she’ll have a beautiful baby!

There was no need of confirmation, is pretty obvious since the coat picture.

She probably hasn’t announced it because she’s a “serious actress” and probably doesn’t feel like it’s relevant to her work. Some people just like to keep their private life private or think that the more you know about their personal lives, the more it takes away from their ability to disappear into a role.

She looked really amazing in her dress tonight – I wish I had a dress from Escada when I was pregnant. I also think Nicole Kidman looked like she had a tiny bump too. Not sure if she’s just bloated (compared to her normal concave belly) or if she is maybe a little bit pregnant. Hope it’s the latter – it would be adorable if those two best friends could have babies at the same time.

I think she just doesn’t feel like it’s something one announces to the press, it’s a private matter and they’re not a royal couple to have to make it official. Generally minor celebrities run to People magazine with an announcement, just to get some press. She’s far along already and they’re engaged (she’s wearing the ring privately) but they said many times already that they won’t be talking to the press about their private lives. Lack of official announcement does not mean there is no pregnancy, just look at her.

It was obvious at the Oscars that she is expecting a baby. Some of the interviewers from the Canadian Press mentioned it too on their Red Carpet special, I think without realizing there hadn’t been a formal announcement. Maybe she doesnt’ want to announce it this early. Celebrities are entitled to their privacy too though and I’m sure she and Liev will announce it when they are ready.
