Australian cricketer's wife beats cancer again, poses for photos in magazine

Australian cricketer Glenn McGrath’s wife, Jane, has beaten cancer for the third time, this time a brain tumor. Glenn and Jane have two children, James, 7, and Holly, 5, who they were lucky enough to have after Jane was first diagnosed in 1997. The couple spoke to Australian Women’s Weekly this week and posed for these photos. Jane gives the following quote on her future;

The most important things in my life are to be a wife and mother. That’s all I really want, to be with Glenn and to watch James and Holly grow up. I want to grow old, really old, with them by my side. Those are my dreams.

What a beautiful and extraordinary woman! She reminds me of my mom. She’s beaten cancer twice. It’s really hell. I admire these women SO much. They have so much courage and seem fearless.

This is such a wonderful story!! As a young woman fighting this disease it warms my heart to see someone who has three times beaten cancer. Does anyone know if she was able to conceive normally, or did she have her beautiful babies via surrogate?

I know that she didn’t use a surrogate because Jane gave an interview years ago about finding out that she was pregnant with James around about the time she and Glenn were married. Both of her children were born before Janes second bout of cancer, the third one was between 18months and 2 years ago.
