Actor Greg Kinnear, 43, sat down with Oprah on her show today, where he discussed, among other things, life with his wife Helen and their daughters, Lily Katherine, 3, and Audrey Mae, 8 months. Here are the highlights:
What, no sons? Greg was amazed that he had daughters, as both sides of his family are all boys. He said,
The fact that we got a girl was amazing. The fact that we got another girl was baffling!
An aspect of parenting Greg hadn’t thought about before becoming a father was how unsure about himself he would feel. He told Oprah,
The sense of confidence that you have about anything in your life is completely shot. There’s a real sense of vulnerability that sets in about just all of the things you can do wrong or do right, and there’s no great blueprint on any of this.
