Barbara Walters sends her best wishes to Britney Spears

Extra spoke to Barbara Walters about Britney Spears and her recent tabloid-busting state of affairs.  Barbara said,

What I hope for Britney is that she herself recovers. I hope that when she’s in rehab the paparazzi flying around above her in helicopters will leave her alone.  Let the girl try to get back to good health.  That’s what we should care about. 

She said she has talked to Britney’s manager, Larry Rudolph, who said that,

The children are in very good hands, he wouldn’t tell me whose hands. That she has friends and family supporting her, that she’s back in rehab.

Does Barbara want to interview her?  She said,

She has gone through so much.  She’s got a long way to go before she has to sit down and do an interview.

I THINK THAT BRITNEY SPEARS IS JUST HAVING A BAD BREAK AND THAT ALL HER FANS SHOULD BE SUPPORTING HER RIGHT NOW. I MEAN THINK ABOUT IT, SHES HAD 2 BABIES IN LESS THAN A YEAR AND A DIVORCE TO BOOT.. THATS ENOUGH STRESS TO EVEN BREAK THE NON CELEBRITY WOMEN IN THE WORLD. THE PRESS NEEDS TO JUST BACK OFF AND LEAVE HER ALONE. WHEN SHE IS READY TO MAKE AN OFFICIAL PUBLIC APPEARANCE SHE WILL.. SHE DOESNT NEED THE CAMERAS IN HER FACE 24/7.. HOW WOULD YOU FEEL IF IT WERE YOU?

I really think Britney is going through a very low point in her life and has lost sight of her true self worth. I think she needs someone who she feels is not judging her and that truely loves her to help guide her. And I think the paparrazzi really needs to have a conscious and leave the POOR GIRL ALONE!!!!!!

I think that ARNOLD, the govenor of Cali needs to step up to the plate and demand that paps stay a certain radius away from stars. Everybody needs their space and it’s gotten so out of control in Hollyweird. From everybody to Britany to The Pitt family. It has got to stop. I think that x-17 and splash news are two of the biggest culprits.

That’s really great of Barbara. Britney needs people on her side. I believe she’ll be such a better person once she’s done with rehab.

Wylie, I agree with you. They do need to set some kind of law or something really bad is going to go down between celebs and the paps.
