Princess Alexandra with her knight in shining armor

Princess Alexandra of Denmark, 42, had a knight in shining armor by her side this Tuesday. Her son Prince Nikolai, 7, was dressed in a bright red cape and a padded silver breatplate as the mother and son made their way to his school. Alexandra and her ex-husband Prince Joachim of Denmark, 37, are also parents to Prince Felix, 4.

Just a note about the speculation surrounding Alexandra, Countess of Frederiksborg: I typed her name into Google and in Wikipedia, it does actually claim she IS expecting her first child with new husband Martin Jorgensen this summer/fall.
