Teri Polo on remarriage and her son

While some women may swear off marriage after a difficult divorce, Teri Polo, best known as Pam Focker and star of the new Fox series The Wedding Bells, is willing to give it another shot. The single mom to 4-year-old Griffin and girlfriend to drummer Jamie Wollam for three years and counting says she has thought about walking down the aisle for a second time.

I’m considering getting married again. I’ve not lost faith in that institution. I’m older; I’m smarter. I’m no longer searching for something to complete me…and therefore I’m now able to find someone to be a partner with.

Perhaps she is inspired by her new show, in which she plays a wedding planner. Teri, 37, didn’t spend much time planning her first wedding to photographer Anthony Moore. The couple eloped in Las Vegas in 1997 and split in 2003, but the actress says she doesn’t regret it because she got the best thing out of the marriage – Griffin.

I ran off to Vegas to get married and now I’m divorced but I have the most beautiful child in the entire universe who I would never, ever trade. I would live every part of my marriage and my subsequent, and very hard, divorce…again to have my son. It was a roundabout way to happiness.

Teri will soon have another baby to deal with – she recently confirmed she will be in the next Meet the Parents sequel, Meet the Little Focker.

Yes, the title was incorrect. It’s ‘Meet the Little Focker.’ I’ve corrected Joyce’s post. Thanks!

I just love Teri. I admire her attitude regarding her divorce…and I am THRILLED to hear that they will be making another sequel…I always wondered about that “Little Focker!”
