Tori Spelling blogs about her baby to be

Tori_spelling_7 Tori Spelling occasionally blogs as a way to keep friends and fans updated on the status of the bed and breakfast she and husband Dean McDermott have purchased for their show Tori and Dean: Inn Love, and on their baby boy, due March 14th or 28th, depending which registry you consult!

The couple is currently back and forth between Temecula, CA, where the B&B is located, and Los Angeles. Last week, Tori took a Lamaze class in Temecula, just in case baby decides to come early and she delivers there.

Of the experience, she writes,

I was really excited because as a first time mom-to-be, I want to learn and experience EVERYTHING! They showed a video on Cesarean births that scared me! It was graphic and terrified me that I’d never look right in a bikini again. Hopefully, I can have my little man naturally though.

Did your birthing classes make you nervous also?

However, it was nice to know other expecting moms are going through the same thing,

It was great meeting other pregnant women and it made me feel better to hear they are just as exhausted and uncomfortable at 8 months as I am.

In an entry from Tuesday, Tori talks a bit about her baby shower. She mentions her friend and fellow 90210 alum Jennie Garth, saying,

I was so excited to show her my belly and get some motherhood advice. After all, she has 3 kids! I’m so glad we have remained so close over the years. Its so funny to think I was just 16 and she was 17 when we started 90210. And now, we have families of our own. Well, I’m about to!

Tori also addresses the issue of her mother not atttending, saying,

I’d be lying if I said it didn’t hurt that my mother was not at my baby shower. It saddens me that during this special life changing time I can’t share it with my mom. Every girl longs to share their pregnancy with their mom. I’m no different. I wish things were different. I wish she wanted to be a part of my life and her soon to be grandson. But I fear holding out hope just leads to disappointment.

I sure hope she didn’t meant that to sound as bad as it does. She should be more concerned with having a healthy birth and delivery for both her son and herself and NOT how she may or may not look in a bikini afterwards!

No my birthing classes did not scare me. I very much enjoyed them and was looking forward to giving birth. I ended up having an emergency cesearan section, so it wasn’t how I thought it would be, but everything turned out perfectly in the end so even that was a great experience!

I am taking birthing classes right now, and I am not too nervous. It has actually made me feel more excited and prepared for my little boy (due early April)! My husband has become more nervous since we started taking the classes, and he isnt the one who has to do all of the work :) I dont think that Tori should stress about vanity at this point. Basically after baby comes, you wont look the same in a bikini anyways. If a c-section is the best way for your baby to come- then so-be-it.

I was terrified of a c-section but it ended up being not a big deal. The pain was nothing. Recovery was fast. It wasn’t a big deal at all.

Everyone’s experiences with childbirth are
so different, it is impossible to really
know what you are in for until it happens.
Just learn as much as you can by taking
classes and reading.

Pre-natal classes didn’t freak me out. I don’t know, I guess it was an overwhelming amount of information. But really, all that you learn in class goes out the window when you actually have the baby! LOL! But one advice I can give to those in labour for the first time: do learn to breathe because it really does help.

Why is the media always off about almost everything. The INN for the show is not located in Temecula… It is in Fallbrook, CA a totally different town. Ask anyone who lives in Fallbrook if they are from Temecula and they will look at you like you are crazy. They even have different weather. Temecula is about 20 minutes from Fallbrook and a whole different vibe.

Congratulations on your new baby girl. The best to the four of you.
