What's a Girl to Wear?

My Name is Earl star Jaime Pressly will have quite the bump to boast at Sunday night’s SAG Awards, but what will she wear?  People magazine had four choices off the runway picks for the mommy-to be/actress, who is nearly seven months pregnant.  All have empire waists which are flattering to a pregnant woman’s belly.

Inspired by an eggplant-colored Badgley Mischka gown Jaime wore to last year’s Emmy Awards, People has chosen an option of similar hue by Alberta Ferretti.  This gown is simple and elegant in silhouette, with an empire waist and plunging neckline.  The Ferretti gown is chic and sexy, while the loose, breathable fabric offers comfort for the mommy-to-be.

In keeping with designers Jaime has worn in the past, the editors at People also selected a golden Badgley Mischka gown that channels old Hollywood glamour in color and form.  The goldenrod gown, accented with jewels at the bust, cascades in beautiful flowing layers, offering a flattering goddess effect for expecting mothers.

The Golden Globes set a definite trend of angelic visions in white, ascelebrity moms like Teri Hatcher walked the runway in white gowns. People’s third pick is this Marchesa gown accented at the bust with ruffles and black lace.

Finally, we have this Erin Fetherston design in black with spaghettistraps and an empire waist, accented with black flower petals cascadingfrom the bodice to the bottom of the gown.

I like the black gown the best, however, i think Jaime would look best in a strapless version. Take advantage of that pregnancy bust!

I think that Badgley Mischka is heavenly and would look lovely on Jaime. I love the colour, but I’m one of those people whose skin looks green if I wear anything resembling gold.

For us normal people it’s what we can afford.
For the Celebs whatever the designers want to throw at them.

how is that relevant with celebrity babies?… if you guys will publish features like this than there is a whole lot more to that than just Jamie preley’s dressing …. like what moms to be wore on a bunch of occasions that they appear… i don’t think it will be interesting!

I think that she should wear the Alberta Ferretti gown. It is my favorite…so tasteful, beautiful, and looks comfy.
She would look sweet in it.

I really like the burgundy one, and the gold one is quite nice too. It would be so much fun to get to buy a new pretty dress for every occasion instead of having one for all occasions.

the Badgley Mischka but not gold on jaime, a darker colour like the egglant or burgundy would look sexier IMHO.
