Williams-Ledger family in Brooklyn…are they hitched?

Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams were photographed while out for a walk with their daughter, Matilda, 14 months, last Tuesday. The couple apparently applied for a marriage license last month and now E! is reporting that Ledger was spotted today with Matilda wearing a wedding band, so we’re guessing they were married sometime in the new year (due to marriage licenses only lasting 30 days). If so, congratulations are in order for the couple and their daughter.

Matilda rode in a Maclaren Techno XT stroller in storm grey ($300) .

A marriage license in New York State is valid for 60 days. (I think it used to be 90 days, when I was married there in 1996. Anybody know?) Regardless, I hope this news is true. They seem like such a normal couple.

If you look closely, that certainly does look like a wedding band on his finger. Not sure if he wore a ring there before, though.

It seems like their style to just quietly get married with no announcement or fanfare. Congratulations to Michelle and Heath.

On one celeb news show they claimed that Heath & Michelle got their marriage license as far back as the end of November, so they very well could’ve gotten married this past weekend.

Congrats to them if they did, and I think it’s great that they were able to pull it off in almost total secretcy.

Yeah how totally unlike Michelle’s former co-star Katie, who had that lavish PR wedding with Tom Cruise, which the whole world knew about!

(Actually I’m surprised Heath & Michelle didn’t marry sooner, but I guess it’s their choice.)
