Boom Boom Room's Baby and Big Kid Villa
The Celebrity Baby Blog was invited to the exclusive Boom Boom Room’s Baby & Big Kid Villa, a luxury gifting suite hosted by Jayneoni Moore at the Hyatt Century Plaza in Los Angeles on January 11th, 2007. The event was dedicated to Hollywood celebrities and their posh tots featuring the hottest baby brands. The only gifting suite dedicated to kids during the Golden Globes, this day long event was not all glitz and glam as the event raised money for the Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation.
As the celebs walked in, they were greeted by Graco with a stroller –boy, did those come in handy and by the time celebs left, the strollerswere piled high! Of course, it was really great to meet our current and past advertisersand products we’ve reviewed – to put a face with a name was a realtreat: Chic Papoose, Chic Tots, Simply Ella, L’ovedbaby, BabyLegs, Robeez, and The Patchwork Bear, to name a few. Oh yeah – can someonepush me home in their stroller? My feet are killing me!

Angie Harmon went crazy for the Wagons from West Coast Wagon and was found admiring Chic Papoose baby slings (left). Angie said she was really looking forward to using this as she balanced her daughter on her hip.
Carnie Wilson loved the lamps at Just Too Cute.
Chandra Wilson loved the leopard and camouflage diaper bags encrusted with Swarovski crystals by My Vintage Baby (pictured left).
Kori Federline (Shar Jackson and Kevin Federline‘s daughter) loved Dora in the Munchkin room. It really doesn’t matter your celebrity status – Dorawas a real hit!
Marcia Cross (who had her assistant pick up her goodies because she’s on bedrest) received monogrammed Dear Johnnies, kinder and stylish hospital gowns and placed an order for Nappi Saks by Suzibella (left).
Tia Carrere picked up a few BeeSqueaky Shoes (that squeak with each step your child takes- don’t worry- the squeaker is removeable) for her daughter and dug the iCrib Munchkins new product for tech savvy parents which allow an iPod to attach safely to a crib.
Celebrities and their stylists love the new line launched by BabyLegs at the event called Fresh.
Bill Bellamy and his wife picked up a few Skibz, a fun alternative to the old-fashioned round bib, intended to catch drool (pictured left).
Joely Fisher selected a Frog Pod bath toy organizer for her daughters.
Angela Bassett loved the new blanket bag (pictured left) launched by Chic Tots.
Tisha Campell adored the Shilav room and was really fun to watch as she was admired by all the vendors.
Robeez baby booties were a big hit wowing celebs like Ming Na, Carnie Wilson, Joely Fisher, Shar Jackson just to name a few.
Some new vendors were there with some real beautiful items. Baby Starlet has a new line of luxury linens and Moses Baskets (the Ava basket is pictured left). Canopy Cards had a great box set of Baby Love Letters – what an idea and Big Day Books offered customizable baby albums created online with fun and fabulous prints – what a time saver! WooBee’s water resistant blankets that double as a changing pad or nursing cover were so adorable.

About Epidermolysis Bullosa
EB is a group of diseases characterized by blister formation afterminor trauma to the skin. This family of disorders, most of which areinherited, range in severity from mild to the severely disabling andlife-threatening diseases of the skin. This rare genetic disorderaffects all ethnic and racial groups. Estimates indicate that as manyas 100,000 Americans suffer from some form of EB. The Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation is avolunteer nonprofit foundation dedicated to the support of medicalresearch of Epidermolysis Bullosa.
