Former POW Jessica Lynch and fiance welcome Dakota Ann

01/19/2007 at 08:17 PM ET

Former prisoner of war, Jessica Lynch, 23, and fiance, Wes Robinson, 25, welcomed a baby girl on Friday. Dakota Ann weighed in at 7 pounds, 10 ounces and is apparently a chubby little girl; "she is just fat and gorgeous…Jessi was calling her a little porker…she already sucks her two fingers and has wonderful chubby cheeks." Dakota is named for a close friend of Jessica’s, Lori Piestewa, a soldier who was killed when their military convoy was attacked in Iraq in March 2003; "Dakota is a Native American word for friend or ally, and Ann was Lori’s middle name." Dakota was due to arrive via c-section on the 23rd of this month but an earlier delivery was decided on due to Jessica’s previous injuries.

The headline reads “husband”. When did they get married?

Jane on

FYI: They are engaged, not married like the title says.

I am happy for her, I am glad everything went okay for her!

She’s the one that ask Extreme Makeover Home Edition to built a new house for Lori’s family.

that’s great news….but is it husband or fiance?

I am so happy for her, and it was very sweet to honor Lori with her daughter’s name. I wish her all the best with her new little one…

Jessica Lynch is and was never a POW!
She was in an Iraqi Hospital being TAKEN CARE OF by IRAQI Physicians when she was so called “Rescued”. She was never a PRISONER of the Iraqi’s and everyone knows it.

Instead of eschewing the press coverage she uses it. She could say, “Loook Im not a hero, I was laying in a hospital bed, Shoshanna Johnson is the real hero and POW, not me” but she cant, she loves the attention so much!

Tell, me when Shoshanna Johnson has a baby…
Until then lets hope and pray Jessica fades into obscurity and the racist press that totally ignores Shoshanna Johnsons Heroism cause shes black gets theirs on judgement day…

(I know this isnt gonna be posted, but it felt great to get it outta my head)
