Sally Field talks about being a grandmother

Brothers & Sisters actress Sally Field, 60, whom many of you might remember as the mother of Forrest Gump, and of, course, as Gidget, talked to Parade Magazine about being a grandmother. "They like Granny a lot. And they love sleepovers." Sally’s youngest son Samuel goes to NYU. "That’s a dream of mine. Never having gone to college, I’d love to get a degree." Field also has two other sons Peter and Eli, 34.

I must be getting old. I can remember Sally Field way back when she played Gidget.

Peter is a writer and I believe his daughters are Isabelle and Sophie. I think that Isabelle is about 8 years old and Sophie is younger. Eli supposedly just recently had a son last year?

@Kresta, me too, I use to love that show. Starts singing the them song “Just wait til you see my Gidget, you’ll want her for you valentine” lol And I’m younger than her sons. :)

Wow. I had no idea that Sally Field is 60 years old – She looks sooo good for her age! And I’m surprised that she’s a grandma too! I think a lot of grandkids love seeing their grandmas – One of my cousins said to my grandma recently “I want to come over for a sleepover. But not just for one night, Forever and forever!” lol.
