I agree with Jean. I met my week-old cousin for the first time during a family get-together at a restaurant. She was safe and snug in her car seat, wrapped in blankets, and snoozed the whole time. We went out to eat with her and her parents a week after that-again, no problems. What's the big deal?

What's wrong with being out with an 8 day old? I felt fine after my births and went to dinner with DS2 when he was 11 hours. It would have been lunch but I needed a nap.

I can't get over the fact that she is out with an 8 day old baby. What is it that she's getting in return? I hope it's pretty valuable...

That is the baby in the blanket; her face is not blurred, it's just that all you can see is her forehead. We have other photos that we unfortunately cannot post right now that make it clear that they're not hiding her - she's just all wrapped up in this one!

I love her and I do wish her the best, but I have to comment on this: why go to a celebrity swag suite with your baby if you're aware there will be photogs and then later have the blurring for the child's features? I know that's the baby but I've seen the same technique requested by the Beckhams for there kids in situations where their kids are photographed and they DON'T want them to be...but this situation I don't understand.

The thing that bugs me about her is she had and elective c-section with Max, and I assume with the new baby too. All for convenience. I think it sent a terrible message. What's wrong with letting the babies come when they are ready, instead of scheduling when they are born? Is it such a bad thing to let your baby, and your body, decide when your baby is born? Not to mention a c-cection is major surgery, it's so much easier, and more natural, to recover from a vaginal birth. I've had both, so I know, but my c-section was due to breech presentation, not for anyone's convenience. Then I went on to have a vaginal birth after my c-section, so that can be done too.
