Tori_spelling_tvTori Spelling joins the ranks of women who love being pregnant.  Of her pregnant body Tori told the TV critics at a conference in Pasadena, CA,"Every night when I walk by my mirror I just stare at my belly and I’m so impressed by it," adding "You always wonder what you’ll look like when you’re pregnant and it looks good. I like being pregnant."

In the TMI department, husband Dean McDermott added, "She looks so sexy naked."

How did you feel when you were pregnant?  Did you enjoy the way you felt and looked?

Ameena says, "Personally, I didn’t like it that much! "
Danielle says, "I loved the way I looked but I didn’t always feel that great, especially during the first trimester.  The second trimester was pretty great but by the third trimester, I started getting tired again and Anya kicked a lot."

I absolutely LOVED being preganant, and I loved everything about it. I had a very easy and smooth preganancy, so maybe that makes a difference, I don’t know, but I truly enjoyed everything about it!

I hated the first half of my pregnancy because I was so ill. I was grateful that my baby was healthy, but was terribly miserable. The last half of my pregnancy was wonderful. I absolutely loved it. I loved my belly. During my first half, I considered having an only child. After experiencing the joys of pregnancy in my last half though, I am looking forward to being pregnant again.

Although my first pregnancy was “high-risk” and I delivered prematurely- I have to admit that I also LOVED being preggers- such an incredible and unbelievable expierence- I also liked being preggers the second time around, although I did expierence naseua for 4+ months with that one- not so great, but once that passed- it was fun all over again- altough amazingly different- my first baby never stopped moving for one minute in utero- my second hardly gave a kick or a flip- funny but true- thier personalitles now definitely “fit” the pregnancy expierence I had with each of them- my oldest is like the energizer bunny- constantly on the move, whereas my baby is quite calm and even-tempered…

I threw up for the first time during my pregnancy at 6 weeks and then got sick EVERYDAY of my pregnancy, including my daughter’s birthday. Most days, I got sick more than once…but I LOVED it. My husband would say “that’s it, were are just having one” and while I was bending over the toilet, I’d say “no, no, at least one more!” I felt beautiful and it was one of the most amazing times of my life…I can’t wait to do it again. (I only hope next time I am not so sick!)

Melissa ~I got to say with my first pregnancy I had the same thing happen to me. I swore it was going to be my first and last pregnancy. However with the next two pregnancies I had the complete opposite experience, if anything I loved being pregnant. Tori looks great pregnant, it suits her well.

I loved being pregnant! I felt very beautiful and maternal. I especially remember with my first pregnancy, being in awe of the day-to-day transformation. Whenever I felt the baby move, I would run to the mirror and lift up my shirt so I could watch it!

I loved, loved, loved being pregnant. Part of my “baby blues” after giving birth was not having my pregnant belly and feeling my son move around inside of me. I was proud of my sexy belly, stretch marks and all! It’s the sexiest I’ve ever felt and the most empowered too. I hope to have more kids in the future and I look forward to having a sexy pregnant belly again!

I loved being pregnant as well. I did have a very easy pregnancy, as well as labor and delivery, so I’m sure that has a lot to do with it. I stayed active my whole pregnancy, and I just loved how I looked and felt. We’ll be trying again within a year, and I can’t wait to be pregnant again. I hope it’s as easy this next time! I also liked how people would smile when they walked by me. Always made me happy!

I’m a little under 12 weeks now and not feeling so sexy. I’m used to being thin and having clothes fit me well, but my body is in this transition where clothes don’t really fit me well at all. It makes me feel like I look sloppy. It’s not so much about the weight gain because I’ve only gained a few pounds, but it’s the way the weight is redistributing itself. I think I’ll feel much sexier when my belly pops and I actually look pregnant as opposed to looking like I could stand to lose a few pounds. One positive thing is that my husband loves my burgeoning curves!

AllAngela- You do have a point. It seemed like it took forever before I “looked pregnant” I was on vacation in Phoenix and was 5 months pregnant the first time someone said “you pregnant belly is so cute”…really made my day!!! As other mamas have said, the attention really is nice. I missed my pregnant belly when it was gone.

I loved being pregnant, too! Especially because it took sooo long for it to happen, that I was proud to finally have a healthy, strong baby inside! Even when I was nauseous, it made me happy! Everywhere I went, people would say how much I glowed–I was just so thrilled that FINALLY I was going to be a mom! :) I was also so happy not to have to go through the monthly cramp hell I’m in when I get my period–so it was a plus not to have any for about a year! :D

…wow, that’s a lot of exclamation points :D can you tell how much I loved being pregnant? :D

PSB on

I had a really easy pregnancy for the first 2 trimesters, but that last one kicked my butt. I developed PUPPS condition, and every day was more excrutiating than the next. I was convinced I was being punished for having no morning sickness.

However, I loved having a belly and feeling the baby move inside of me was my favourite thing ever. The funny thing is that the baby is exactly the same now as he was en utero—so active!

Mom Said It

"It helps that other moms had said that once they had their babies, they forgot they were ever pregnant. So once my focus became the baby and not the pregnancy, it was a very easy decision."
