Rumor: Elisabeth Hasselbeck pregnant?

"I’ve been watching ‘The View’ and I think that Elisabeth Hasselbeck may be pregnant.  She is holding herself differently and wearing loose clothing.  On Monday, she wore a flowing dress with a low cut top and her breasts were definitely larger than normal.  I bet we can expect an announcement with in the next few weeks."

Back in July, we had posted about Elisabeth talking about trying to get pregnant and her issues with secondary infertility on the show. Before that, in January 2006, CBB readers had so many questions about it that we posted about their emails as well!

This morning she was talking about spending too much time on her Blackberry and she said “that’s why I am not pregnant.”

She just made a comment on today’s show (1/10) about not being pregnant. They were discussing blackberrys and she talked about how crazy her and Tim were about their electronics—”This is the reason were not pregnant!” Rosie responded by saying she would take their phones etc. away from them for a month and see what happens then.

I was watching one day last week and she kept making comments about how she needed things to help her concieve. I don’t think it’s a secret that she has been trying to get pregnant, but I don’t think it’s working. Hooray for her if she is!!!

I dont know with her oufit choices lately, I have thought she was pregnant for the last couple of weeks. Every day when I watch the show I keep wondering if today is the day of the announcement. I hope she is!!

I thought a few weeks ago that she was pregnant when they had a segment with some alcoholic drinks and Elisabeth wouldn’t try them, and Joy had to drink them (I’ve seen Elisabeth drink alcohol on the show before). That made me think she was pregnant right away…time will tell!

She may just not be drinking because they’re trying to get pregnant, not because she actually is yet. My husband and I just started trying, and I’ve cut out alcohol entirely just to be on the safe side.

It sounds like Elizabeth is having difficulty getting pregnant again. On today’s View, Elizabeth made a joke that she told her husband the maybe the reason they haven’t gotten pregnant is because they spend too much time on their cell phones and computers.

I sure hope she is! Right after she had Grace, she mentioned on the show a few times that they were trying to get pregnant again right away, because she wanted her kids to be really close in age. She thought 14-16 mos. apart was ideal and said she wanted to be pregnant again before Grace was 6 months old. So, maybe they’ve been trying for awhile to get pregnant again? Or trying and stopped for some reason (football season?) and started again? I don’t know. But I do hope she’s pregnant again!! Her daughter is gorgeous!

I’m no fan of Elisabeth, but I really dislike it when there are pregnancy rumors spread around about celebs who we KNOW are having fertility problems. It really bothers me, because I know plenty of people with fertility issues, and every time people ask them if they are pregnant (when they are not), it’s like a little knife through the heart. It can’t be easy for Elisabeth to read stories like this, if she isn’t pregnant.

I hope for her sake that she is!

As I was watching today, I noticed she has been wearing looser clothing and she is hiding a little belly. I don’t know if that means she’s pregnant but a few months ago she said that their main problem was that her doctor told her she needed to gain weight before she conceived again. Her weight may have been sufficient and they may have a little one on the way!

She’s TOTALLY pregnant! So obvious! The dress she has on today is a dead giveaway! You can actually SEE the bump! Elisabeth is so skinny normally that when her arms and stomach appeared a little fuller a few weeks ago I had to stop and wonder if she was….I expect an announcement by next week!
