POLL: Suspected pregnancies

The is-she-or-isn’t-she spotlight is currently focused on Halle Berry.  Not too long ago, the paparazzi/media/blogs/us were obsessed with whether Nicole Kidman was pregnant.  A lot of it stems from when a female celeb has a slightly rounder belly and sometimes just when she wear loose-fitting clothes.

When you see a celebrity wearing loose-fitting clothing, does it lead you to assume that she’s pregnant?  Or do you try to give her the benefit of the doubt?

Also, do you think celebrities who are "suspected" of being pregnant should confirm or deny the rumors to stop tongues from wagging?  Or are they better off avoiding or ignoring the question (like Halle did in the x17 video)?

I think people should wait until the mom-to-be makes her announcement under ANY and ALL circumstances!! Why not? If she is pregnant, you will see the baby in 9 months – if she is not pregnant, you risk hurting her feelings because she may just have overeaten that day, or she may be having problems conceiving. Give women a break!

Halle is not pregnant, i saw the pix last week i thought she was…BUT I saw her on the peoplez choice award show last night and she had on a tight dress with no bulg…so im am guessin she was just retaining water when the other pix where taken.

I think if they did announce right away, the media would be more likely to leave them alone.

Nicole Kidman’s journalist sister, Antonia, is pregnant with her fourth child hence Nicole’s purchase of baby clothes (widely reported in US media). I think that the media should not speculate on suspected baby bumps. I can think of nothing worse particularly for anyone having trouble conceiving.
